In 2014, Benoît Marie WABO (BMW), a native of Cameroon, developed his passion for music by joining the Saint François d'Assise choir under the direction of Father Thierry MESSE. He learned the basics of music theory under his mentorship. Becoming the choir director in 2016, he led the choir of the Bilingual High School of Bertoua. Subsequently, he joined Joven Tal led by Jean Alexis BAKOND, and then the MBOA Youth Choir in 2019, still under the direction of Jean Alexis BAKOND. These experiences have strengthened his passion for choral conducting and music composition. In 2022, Benoît expanded his artistic horizons by taking music composition courses with Xavier Bernier.
