This is a song that no one will expect a flute choir to play. That said, why not have a flute choir play it? This arrangement will require 1 or 2 people stamping their feet and clapping their hands throughout the whole piece. Or, you could have a drummer do his or her thing.

Play this in the right style - that is, leave your sweet vibrato behind and play this percussively and with an attitude that will make Freddie Mercury proud - and this will be a winner with your audience.

This is the first movement of Part 2, Christ's Passion, of Handel's oratorio, The Messiah.

Flutes 1 - 4 represent the SATB chorus, and the lower parts represent the orchestral parts. That said, Flutes 5 and 6 are more diffcult because they are playing the violin parts, which include more ornamentation than the voice parts.
