Dort versammelten sich im November 2000 die Mitglieder der Europäischen Trompetergilde (European Trumpet Guild). Bertold Hummel wurde gebeten, ein Stück für diesen Anlass zu komponieren. Der Komponist verwendet darin sechs Trompeten von der Basstrompete bis zur Piccolotrompete, ergänzt nur von den Pauken. Die drei Sätze sind kontrastreich; im zweiten Satz wird der Hörer mit einem Nachhall von Luthers Ein feste Burg ist unser Gott überrascht.
