The use of Mahogany is responsible for the warm, bass-heavy sound with a subtle treble range. The guitar also features a bone nut and saddle, diamond fingerboard dots and 18:1 open back tuners. The Larrivee D-40 is the dreadnought version from this series and impresses with the typical loud, yet differentiated tone over the entire frequency range, which is raised to a new level; made in USA
