During his tenure at 'La Madeleine? in Paris, Théodore Dubois composed a large number of organ works.Volume III, together with the already published Volumes II and IV, brings our first complete Urtext edition of this body of music to a close. It contains 'Trois Pièces? (Praeludium-grave, Adoratio et Vox Angelica, Hosannah) and the well-known and frequently performed wedding piece 'Messe de Mariage? Le troisième mouvement Mater Dolorosa retombe sur la séquence de grégorien célèbre Stabat Mater, prenant la douleur de Mary à la Croix comme thème central. La finale traite l'Ave Maris Stella dans un crescendo de pp à ff de manière positive et solennelle, à la mémoire de l'hypothèse de Mary.
