As supplements to the final versions already published in the New Liszt Edition, in this series early versions are being published. The present volume contains the seven pieces from the Swiss years of the Années de pélerinage, together with the three pieces known as the Trois morceaux suisses, as they first appeared as part of the series Album d'un voyageur. Another work that may be of interest is a later version of the Clochette fantasy that remained unpublished in Liszt's lifetime.
