Music is one of the most important elements of a preschoolers' development and it is the perfect way to introduce spiritual concepts to this age child. What they hide in their hearts from the ages of three to five will stay with them for a lifetime. Having worked together for years as writers editors and directors of children's music Pamela Vandewalker and Cherry Garasi felt the need for quality age appropriate musical presentations for preschoolers. Live LOVE! is a result of that idea and it presents one of the strongest spiritual concepts anyone can ever learn. This musical presentation outlines the idea that truly love is a verb. By teaching children that we show love to others in the way we live and the things we do and say we are pointing them toward a relationship with God through His son Jesus - the One who teaches us to love one another. Because the subject matter of this musical is love this music program can be used at any time of year but would be especially suited for a February (or Valentine's) performance. Suggestions for sharing this musical in your church school or community are included in this book. Our prayer is that as you teach Live LOVE! you and your children will have a happy experience with music making. But more importantly we hope the ideas of God loving us and the importance of loving each other will be instilled in the hearts and minds of your preschoolers. Video Blogs Now Available! View here .

The Belgian composer Nicholas Lens presents extremely varied etudes, exercises and simple phrases with wonderfully telling titles from poetry and everyday world for children and adults. For the most part the studies are tonal and simple and have no constructed line. They are not based on any educational concept but leave the musical dramatization to the pupils and teachers: 'Notes and rhythms are just notes and rhythms, they do not have that many rules, they do not have any pretension, they are just tools for you to use to express what you want to share'.

Music Play is a play based program - each week features a new game from which the musical concepts in the curriculum are taught. Children love music games - this is a text that will have your students really excited about learning music! The songs in Musicplay are chosen to teach musical concepts, to teach children about cultures around the world, to provide songs for performances throughout the school year and to teach children about Canada. The most important factor in selecting songs for this series, is that songs appeal to children! The performances on the CD are also produced to appeal to children. Both children and adult voices are heard on the CD's and accompaniments vary. Orff accompaniments are heard in more than 50 songs, piano accompaniments are used in some, and upbeat rock and roll accompaniments are heard in others. The performance songs on the CD's have both performance tracks and accompaniment tracks - you can use the accompaniments only for your performances. Multicultural songs feature authentic performances - the songs are in original languages and are sung by native singers. Many of the multicultural songs are game songs that appeal to children even though the language and sound may be unfamiliar.
