With cool licks, your students are sure to get into this tune. El Gato is a great introduction to the Latin style. The chart draws inspiration from the cha-cha where the rhythms are very idiomatic of the style. The rhythms are repeated often to allow students to fully assimilate them.

This kalimba (thumb piano) sheet music features popular Japanese nursery rhymes, Studio Ghibli, and Anime Songs with number notation for 17-key kalimba. It has 30 scores for solo and 10 bonus scores for multiphobic (multi note) arrangements. No need to worry about accidentals, such as sharps and flats, or not being able to play because the range is too wide. You can play all the songs with your 17-key kalimba as is. All scores are written with the number notation, such as 1 or 2, and which are often engraved on most 17-key kalimba key plates. Moreover, single-note melody notation includes chord names, so you can enjoy ensembles with guitar, piano, or other accompaniment instruments. Enjoy!

For those who are looking for scores written in the original song keys for wind and brass, here you are! In this series, 40 popular J-POP songs are transposed for each instrument and can be played in the same keys as the original songs. (For example, if the original song is in C major, the score for trumpet in B-flat is re-transposed and written in D major to play in C major.) It is a great selection for a live session with other instruments such as piano or guitar. *Please note: the chord names are indicated in real tone notation for all scores in the series.

Gato del Sol is everything a bossa nova should be: subtle, melodic, and always in a relaxed groove. An ample tenor sax solo covering an entire chorus of the tune, plus a montuno, is just one highlight of how the tune unfolds. The contented feel of this chart will have your audience humming along, and smiling all the way home. Highest trumpet note: C.

Latin music should be a part of every band's repertoire. You'll love the fire and rhythmic emphasis of Gordon Goodwin's Garaje Gato, as well as the harmonic and melodic richness. With half note = 108 BPM, solo space is included for all saxes, trumpet 3, and trombone 1, plus Latin percussion parts. As recorded by the Big Phat Band. Plenty of excitement! (6:51).

Harald Genzmer's composition Divertimento di danza for string orchestra clearly continues the baroque form of the divertimento. This light music * in the truest sense of the word * consisted of a sequence of loose movements with free forms and dance movements alternat-ing in varied succession. The divertimento comprised five to six movements. Genzmer kept to all these facts but he brought new life into the old forms. Though he did not compose in the old style, he respected certain rules of the traditional form. Ouverture * Allegro (Fugato) * Adagio * Presto (on an Old French dance) * Finale (on an English dance movement).
