Charles Louis Eugène Koechlin (1867-1950) a étudié avec Massenet et Fauré et fonda la Société Musicale Indépendante avec Ravel, Schmitt, Caplet et Huré. Poulenc et Sauguet étaient deux de ses élèves. La composition des organes de Koechlin est publié dans une édition en deux volumes pour la première fois. Qu'il s'agit d'une oeuvre très importante apparaît clairement dans le fait que les créations ont été réalisées par des organistes importants: Olivier Messiaen a joué la Chorale op. 90 et Maurice Duruflé la première Sonatine.Une édition intéressante pour des concerts, des compétitions et de la liturgie.
