Released in 2005, the album Once Around The Sun is the outcome of Joby Talbot's residency with Classic FM. During his year in residence, Talbot composed a new piece of music each month, scored for up to five instruments. The resulting twelve compositions were then premiered on Classic FM and were recorded on CD. October - Cerberusk was the tenth piece to be composed and is scored here for solo Piano.

Jimmy Baas has musically captured the essence of Robert Frost's haunting and blustery poem October. Choirs will find great balance between lovely unisons, three-part harmony, and vocal pairings making October an excellent selection for SAB ensembles that yearn for a challenging, yet still accessible, song.

Striving for the highest in art - this is how Schubert announced his A-flat major Mass to the Schott publishing house in 1828. The statement can also be seen as an artistic credo applicable to his last great mass, which the composer wrote that same year but whose first performance in October 1829 he no longer lived to experience. Since a source-critical new edition of the E-flat major Mass is a must for Breitkopf & Hartel's catalogue, Peter Jost has taken up this challenge and come up with a compelling edition that does justice to the high demands of the Breitkopf Urtext collection.Schubert's last great mass, whose first performance in October 1829 he no longer lived to experience..
