Here at last is a performer!s edition of the first three Bach cello Suites. Notated by scholar Tim Hugh, the volume contains BWV 1007, Suite one, BWV 1008, Suite two, and BWV 1009, Suite three. With all of the movements repeated (minuets, bourrees and gavottes twice), the editor prefers to give as much variety as possible between them with regards to bowing, dynamics, tempo and mood. A helpful CD of all three Suites is included in this must have volume!

Cela vous semble improbable et sans doute avez-vous raison. Mike Hannickel, lui, n’exclut pas cette option et nous propose une toute autre version du célèbre ballet, une version que Tcha kovski aurait peut-être réalisée lui-même s’il y avait pensé. Écoutons sans plus attendre l’œuvre d’un Tcha kovski vraiment distrait.

Between 1717 and 1723 Johann Sebastian Bach composed Six Suites for Violoncello (BWV 1007 BWV 1012). Of these, the first three have been transcribed for bass guitar in this coursebook, which in itself is a considerable amount of work.
