Suite is a piece for three Bb or C Trumpets composed by Henri Tomasi in 1964. This unusual suite lasts approximately 8?30 minutes. It is divided into three main parts: 1. Havanaise at a Tempo di Habanera, 2. Lento egeen and 3. Danse Bolivienne. The Havanaise is made of a danse part and a more melodious one. Its dialogue in between the Trumpets creates a counterpoint. In the second part, the three instruments alternate the theme with small variations and the last part, ?3. Danse Bolivienne?, is a toccata. This book features score and parts for Bb and C Trumpets. Henri Tomasi was a French composer, conductor and winner of the Grand Prix de Rome in 1927. He also composed a variety of concerti for Alto Saxophone and for Trombone, as well as some ballades..

The music of Handel is considered the culmination of the Baroque period of music history, and his Water Music (1717) has endured in popularity for nearly 300 years! Performed from a barge traveling on the River Thames, King George I is said to have liked the music so much that he ordered it repeated several times. Originally three suites each consisting of multiple movements, Johnnie Vinson has skillfully adapted this arrangement for young players using “Alla Hornpipe” from the Suite in D Major, and the “Air” and “Allegro” from the Suite in F Major. Duration: 4:20.

Little Tokyo Suite is a work in three movements for wind ensemble, with a flexible 10-part orchestration suitable for concert band or fanfare band. It portrays the “Japantowns†established by Japanese emigrants around the world. They are often called “Little Tokyoâ€, in reference to the capital of Japan. The three movements each focus on a region with such a Japanese community. This suite is dedicated to the concert band of the conservatory of the 12th arrondissement of Paris, whose conductor is a lover of Japanese culture, and to Mochizuki Junior High School, Saku City (Nagano, Japan). They premiered this work, 10,000 km away from each other, in 2022.

Composed by Eugène Bozza in 1947, Short Suite in Trio Form, Op. 67 is a piece for oboe, clarinet and bassoon. This edition features the parts for the three instruments and a full score. This four-movement work is quite difficult and would be perfect for advanced players. A great piece for recitals, it is also really interesting to play for each of the three instruments. The four movements are Allegro moderato, which starts with the oboe, Allegro vivo, Adagio espressivo and Allegro vivo, and the piece lasts approximatively 10 minutes. Eugène Bozza won different prizes at the Conservatoire de Paris such as the First Prizes for the Violin, conducting and composition, as well as the Grand Prix de Rome. He composed several operas, chamber works and ballets among others.
