Piano Pieces from the Nannerl Music Book-Piano Pieces From The 'Nannerl Music Book' contains 17 pieces composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart when he was between five and eight years old.When W. A. Mozart's sister Maria AnnaMozart known as Nannerl started receiving Piano lessons her father gave her a music book in which he and others gradually wrote down little recital pieces.This book was soon passed on to her brother and noticing hisremarkable talent for composing the children's father wrote down some of his son's first works in the book.This Henle Urtext edition is taken from the complete volume of Mozart’s Piano Pieces (HN22) and contains a newpreface by the editor Ullrich Scheideler. The pieces in this volume are easy to play making them ideal for beginners.

Edition without Fingering-Published in a two-volume edition (HN1 and HN2) Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's 18 Piano Sonatas were the very first pieces in the Henle catalogue. These popular sonatas remain part of the core repertory of everypianist. In the intervening decades since the release of the original Urtext edition both volumes have been revised several times in order to keep pace with the current state of research. The latest update concerning K.331 the “Alla turca” sonata from volume 2 dates from 2015. The editor’s preface and critical report provide detailed information on all the sources and textual issues. HN1 and HN2 include fingerings; here Henlepresents both volumes without fingerings for pianists who want to find their own way into Mozart’s Piano universe. 

A Facsimile Edition of the Autographs-Only about a tenth of Mozarts works were printed during his lifetime the rest having been published without the benefit of his supervision. This long-awaited edition of the autograph score offers a rare opportunity to see Mozarts violin concertosaccording to the composers intentions. Thanks to the well-preserved condition of the original manuscripts and Mozarts legible handwriting these reproductions of his scores can be used for study reference and performance. With the new Urtext Primo series Wiener Urtext Edition intends to bridge the gap between studying a Piano method and taking additional lessons. Beginning with a performance level which is outlined by pieces such as Bach's Minuet in G (BWV Anh. 116) Mozart's Minuet in F (KV 5) or Schumann's Wilder Reiter (Op. 68/8) works by three different composers are selected for each volume in the series with the aim of offering Piano pupils (or even adults who want to resume Piano playing) a wide range of repertoire pieces on the basis of which they can enhance their technical and musical skills. The pieces' range of levels of difficulty is relativelynarrow so that the volume can be used continuously over a period of about two years. This is what distinguishes the Urtext Primo approach from almost all common anthologies. The selected repertoire takes into account not only pieces of the classic canon of lessons but also lesser known works which are in no way of less importance for Piano lessons.The Urtext Primo volumes are published in the internationally recognised standard of the Wiener Urtext editions. The explanations included in each volume shall help to deepen the knowledge of musical styles music history and piano playing. A repertoire chart at the end of each volume gives a rough overview of the levels of difficulty of the selected pieces.Volume 1 contains both frequently played educational works by Bach and lesser known pieces by Handel and Scarlatti Volume 2 compositions by Haydn and Mozart as well as musically and educationally attractive pieces by Cimarosa. Volume 3 (scheduled for publication in summer 2013) contains pieces by Beethoven Schubert and Hummel Volume 4 (scheduled for publication in early 2014) works by Schumann Brahms and Theodor Kirchner.
