Over the months, synchronization has extended to almost everything you publish on free-scores.com. Today you can align an MP3 recording with a PDF or MusicXML score, whether public or private in Opus, and you can also synchronize a YouTube video with a PDF or MusicXML score. During playback, the current bar lights up and the score follows the music, both on the score page and in the Opus Reader. These features arrived one at a time, and each had its own entry point: the sync editor in the PDF viewer, another one in the XML player, the video generator in Opus, the YouTube settings somewhere else again. The result: powerful tools, but scattered, and you often had to know where to look to find them. Free-scores Studio was created to bring order to all this. It is now the single gateway to everything related to the sound and image of your scores, organized into three areas: Audio sync: find your PDF and MusicXML scores, see at a glance which ones are already synchronized, and start syncing them with an MP3 or a YouTube video. Video with score: create a full video of a score scrolling in time with the music, with the notes highlighted. For MusicXML, this is always possible using the player's sounds, or with your MP3 if it is synchronized. For PDF, as soon as the PDF is synchronized with an MP3. Premium members export in high definition. Promotional video: this is the new feature. In just a few clicks, put together a short clip to showcase a score, a playlist or your composer page, ready to share on TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts or YouTube. No synchronization is required; if your score is synchronized, you simply get an extra scene where it scrolls along with the recording. Nothing goes away: the tools remain available from the viewers, just as before. The Studio brings them together, guides you to the right tool for what you want to do, and saves you time for what really matters: getting your music heard and known.
