Accelerando Book 1 is designed for both children and adults for use from the first lesson. It covers finger combination activities (hands alone) in Middle C position progressing to 5-finger patterns in C Major position (hands together); consistent quarter-note motion. Includes: 72 studies and features: legato & staccato steps & skips master the metronome and hold studies to establish secure keyboard orientation.

Stable position and travel studies in 5 subject areas: expanding the hand position triplets arpeggio figures chromatic figures and dotted rhythm; includes 8th notes and triplets. Book 4 includes 51 studies and features: contrasting articulations intervals & triads thumb under & shifting thumb ?master the metronome ? and a relative major/minor transposition chart.

Book 5 (Early Intermediate). Primary Subjects: melodic scale figures dotted rhythm 16th notes triad inversions black key studies combination studies. New Elements: 16th notes scale figures in relative major/minor key signatures progressing through two sharps/flats expanding to a broken octave double 3rds transpositions presented with the new key signatures. Also includes: circle of 5ths diagram relative major/minor transposition chart 'master the metronome ' staff paper.
