Instrumental Solo,Tin Whistle - Level 3 - SKU: A0.1329831 Composed by Various. Arranged by Cindy Blevins. Christmas. Individual part. 53 pages. Cindy Blevins #917816. Published by Cindy Blevins (A0.1329831). This is a book of 15 beautiful, playable Christmas arrangements for solo tin whistle (unaccompanied). You receive the tin whistle parts in notation without fingering diagrams, the same part but WITH fingering diagrams (TAB), and a separate comprehensive fingering chart. So if you enjoy playing the notes on the staff, there is a part for you! And if you need the diagrams for learning, or for using every time, there's a part for you!The included songs are: Angels We Have Heard On High, Away In A Manger, Bring A Torch, Jeannette, Isabella, Deck the Halls, Ding Dong! Merrily On High, Good King Wenceslas, Hark! the Herald Angels Sing,  I Saw Three Ships, In the Bleak Midwinter, Infant Holy, Joy To the World, O Holy Night, Silent Night, Sussex Carol and The First Noel.My tin whistle is a D whistle. You can use a low D or high D whistle, or any key of whistle, since all tin whistles are fingered basically the same, and these are unaccompanied.

Brass Quintet Baritone Horn TC,Trumpet,Tuba - Level 3 - SKU: A0.1460483 By Chicago. By Oscar Hammerstein and Richard Rodgers. Arranged by Will Corbin. Broadway,Christmas,Musical/Show. 19 pages. Will Corbin #1039408. Published by Will Corbin (A0.1460483). It began life as Maria's song to the Von Trapp children to ease teir fear of lightning when it was first performed in the 1959 debut of The Sound Of Music. But because her favorite things include sleighbells and silver white winters and packages tied up with string, it has become identified mostly as a Christmas song. Jack Jones was the first to put it on a Christmas album in 1964, followed by many others.This arrangement is for two trumpets, horn, baritone and tuba, with a trombone part thrown in for the baritone line. If you need other instrumentation, I'm happy to accommodate. Contact me at wilcor@aol.com.

Brass Ensemble Euphonium - Level 4 - SKU: A0.813120 Composed by George Frideric Handel. Arranged by Regis Bookshar. Baroque,Christmas,Instructional,Sacred,Standards. Score and parts. 33 pages. Regis Bookshar #6117635. Published by Regis Bookshar (A0.813120). Euphonium Quintet - Advanced/Intermediate - . This selection, For Unto Us a Child is Born, from George Frideric Handel's world-famous oratorio, Messiah, would be an excellent addition to any music library. Originally written for a four-part chorus accompanied by a small orchestra, this selection has been arranged for 5 Euphoniums by Regis Bookshar, without losing any of the vitality of the original version. I'm certain that this exciting arrangement will entertain both performers and audiences alike for years to come. It is perfect for Christmas concerts and church services, is suitable for high school, college and professional performers and is one of my all-time favorite arrangements. Included are a score and a complete set of parts, written in Bass Clef (33 pages). A version written in Treble Clef is also available, if needed. Handel's original version is written in the key of Concert G. This version is written in the key of Concert F, to make it a little easier for some younger performers. This arrangement will prove to be a challenge for many players, especially during long passages played using one breath. Other versions of this selection, in both the keys of Concert F and the original key of Concert G, are available for a variety of instrumental ensembles. If you are considering having an organist or other keyboard player perform with this selection, I would suggest that you purchase the version in Concert G rather than the one in Concert F. Also available are numerous other arrangements in a variety of styles. I would encourage you to search for other arrangements by Regis Bookshar. You may find something else which might interest you as well. I'm certain that this arrangement will please students and audiences alike.

Brass Ensemble Euphonium - Level 4 - SKU: A0.813139 Composed by George Frideric Handel. Arranged by Regis Bookshar. Baroque,Christmas,Instructional,Sacred,Standards. Score and parts. 32 pages. Regis Bookshar #6117899. Published by Regis Bookshar (A0.813139). Included are a score and a complete set of parts written in Treble Clef (32 pages). A version written in Bass Clef is also available, if needed. Handel's original version is written in the key of Concert G, as is this version, but other versions are also available for a variety of instrumental ensembles, both in the original key of Concert G and also in the key of Concert F, to make it a little easier for some younger performers. This arrangement will prove to be a challenge for many players, especially during long passages played using one breath.

Your Favorite Christmas Hymns and Carols for Wind Instruments
Arranged by Colin Kirkpatrick
Book 1
This essential collection may be all you ever need for your wind instruments at Christmas. It's a bargain price too! The arrangements are intended either as stand-alone pieces that could be used as interludes in a service, or they could be used to accompany solo, choral or congregational singing.
The publication consists of a four-staff score in concert pitch together with fourteen separate parts in various transpositions. There is also a fairly easy optional keyboard part. These four-part arrangements use flexible instrumentation so that you can exercise considerable control over the instrumental voicing. You can also create interesting instrumental tone colour by omitting groups of instruments. This can be achieved with the aid of a pencil. If the ensemble is large enough you could omit brass instruments in the quieter sections, or use a solo trumpet against a woodwind background. There are endless possibilities. You can hear the effect of omitting sections in the audio samples. The arrangements could therefore be played by brass quartet, woodwind quartet, saxophone quartet or virtually any combination of wind instruments. Using the piano part (which has been kept as simple as possible) the arrangements could also be used as solos or duets, depending of what instruments are available. Parts 1 and 2 in C have been printed an octave higher than the pitch shown in the score because the parts invariably are too low for flute or oboe. All the scores and parts are contained in a single125-page PDF file.
The publication consists of four-stave scores for each hymn and carol plus:
1. Part 1 in B flat (clarinet, trumpet, cornet, soprano sax);
2. Part 1 in C (8ve higher for piccolo, flute, oboe);
3. Part 1 in E flat (alto saxophone, E flat clarinet);
4. Part 2 in B flat (clarinet, trumpet, cornet, flugelhorn);
5. Part 2 in C (8ve higher for flute, oboe);
6. Part 2 in E flat (alto saxophone);
7. Part 3 in B flat (tenor saxophone, B flat baritone);
8. Part 3 in C (bass clef for trombone, bassoon);
9. Part 3 in E flat (E flat tenor horn, alto saxophone, alto clarinet);
10. Part 3 in F (French horn in F);
11. Part 3a in B flat (8ve below score pitch for 3rd clarinet);
12. Part 4 in B flat (B flat bass clarinet, B flat bass);
13. Part 4 in C (bass clef for trombone, bass trombone, bassoon, tuba);
14. Part 4 in E flat (E flat baritone saxophone, E flat bass)
Book 1 includes the following 19 titles: Angels from the Realms of Glory (Melody: Gloria); Away in a Manger (Melody: Mueller); Unto Us a Child Is Born (Melody: Puer Nobis); Christians Awake! (Melody: Yorkshire); Deck the Halls with Boughs of Holly (Melody: Nos Galan); Go Tell it on the Mountain; Good Christian Men, Rejoice (Melody: In Dulci Jubilo); Good King Wenceslas (Melody: Tempus Adest Floridum); I Saw Three Ships Come Sailing In; It Came Upon the Midnight Clear (Melody: Carol); Little Jesus, Sweetly Sleep (Melody: Rocking); O Christmas Tree (Melody: Tannenbaum); O Come all ye Faithful (Melody: Adeste Fidelis); O Little Town of Bethlehem (Melody: Saint Louis); O Holy Night (Melody: Cantique Noël); Silent Night (Melody: Stille Nacht); The Holly and the Ivy; We Wish You a Merry Christmas and What Child is This? (Melody: Greensleeves)
The audio samples include Angels from the Realms of Glory, Deck the Halls with Boughs of Holly, Go Tell it on the Mountain and Silent Night. Please note that arrangements in the publication are not intended to be compatible with Your Favorite Christmas Hymns and Carols for Brass.

Brass Ensemble Euphonium - Level 3 - SKU: A0.813984 Composed by Franz Xaver Gruber. Arranged by Regis Bookshar. Christmas,Instructional,Multicultural,World. Score and parts. 11 pages. Regis Bookshar #6636627. Published by Regis Bookshar (A0.813984). Euphonium Octet - Intermediate - . This arrangement of Silent Night, or in German, Stille Nacht, would be a wonderful addition to any music library and could be performed for Christmas concerts, recitals, and, especially, church services. It is equally suitable for junior and senior high school students and even older musicians. Depending on their ability, younger musicians would also enjoy playing this selection. Included are a score and a complete set of parts (11 pages). This selection is one of the many arrangements from The Regis Bookshar Trumpet Ensemble's extensive music library which are being made available for the first time.Silent Night is probably the most popular Christmas carol ever written. It was composed in 1818 by Franz Xaver Gruber to lyrics by Joseph Mohr and was first performed on Christmas Eve at St. Nicholas parish church in Oberndorf, a small village in present-day Austria. A young Catholic priest, Father Joseph Mohr, had written the poem, Stille Nacht, in 1816 and had gone to Oberndorf in 1817. The melody was composed by Franz Xaver Gruber, schoolmaster and organist in the nearby village of Arnsdorf. On Christmas Eve, 1818, Mohr brought the words to Gruber and asked him to compose a melody and guitar accompaniment for that night's mass, after river flooding had possibly damaged the church organ. The church was eventually destroyed by repeated flooding and has since been replaced with the Silent-Night-Chapel.According to Gruber, Karl Mauracher, an organ builder who serviced the instrument at the Oberndorf church, was enamored with the song, and took the composition home with him to the Ziller Valley in Tyrol, Austria. From there, two traveling families of folk singers, the Strassers and the Rainers, included the tune in their shows. The Rainers were already singing it around Christmas, 1819, and once performed it for an audience that included Franz I of Austria and Alexander I of Russia. They also gave the first performance of the song in the United States in New York City in 1839. By the 1840's, the song was well known and was reported to be a favorite of Frederick William IV of Prussia. During this period, the melody changed slightly to become the version that is commonly heard today. The version of the melody that is generally used today is a slow, meditative lullaby, or pastoral, differing slightly from Gruber's original which has a moderate tempo. The song has been translated into about 140 languages and has been recorded by many singers across many music genres. The version sung by Bing Crosby in 1935, has sold over 10 million copies as a single.In this arrangement of Silent Night, Regis Bookshar has kept the basic form of this familiar Christmas carol, but has also included a descant during the third verse. Also, in addition to this version for a Euphonium Octet, written in Bass Clef, there are other arrangements of Silent Night available for a variety of instrumental ensembles. There is also a version for a Euphonium Octet, written in Treble Clef, if you prefer. There are Quintets and Octets readily available for purchase. Please take the time to look for other versions of this composition. You may find something else that might also suit your needs.I would also encourage you to search for other arrangements by Regis Bookshar, as well, as there are numerous arrangements in a wide variety of styles, also available for purchase. You may find something else which might interest you. Please continue to check periodically because new arrangements are being added as often as possible. I'm certain that this wonderful arrangement of Silent Night will continue to entertain both performers and audiences alike for years to come.

The version of the melody that is generally used today is a slow, meditative lullaby, or pastoral, differing slightly from Gruber' s original which has a moderate tempo. Also, in addition to this version for a Euphonium Quintet, written in Treble Clef, there are other arrangements of Silent Night available for a variety of instrumental ensembles. There is also a version for a Euphonium Quintet written in Bass Clef, if you prefer.
