Piano Solo - Level 5 - SKU: A0.1340411 Composed by David Tsvariani. 21st Century,Classical,Contemporary. Score. 2 pages. David Tsvariani #926038. Published by David Tsvariani (A0.1340411). David Tsvariani's musical compositions encompass a series of compact polytonal piano works. Within each piece, the right and left hand segments delve into separate tonalities, with the interval between their fundamental tones ranging from 0.5 to 3 tones, completing a circular progression.Throughout this collection, the fundamental tones undergo systematic changes. For instance, in compositions distinguished by a 0.5-tone interval, four tonal possibilities emerge: minor-major, major-minor, minor-minor, and major-major. The cycle then continues with the introduction of a new fundamental tone, repeating the pattern with four fresh tonal options. This iterative exploration unfolds across the entirety of David Tsvariani's composition series, offering a nuanced exploration of tonal diversity within the polytonal context.

Bass Trombone,Horn,Instrumental Duet - Level 3 - SKU: A0.1074291 Composed by Josquin des Prez. Arranged by James M. Guthrie. Contest,Festival,Instructional,Renaissance,Traditional,Wedding. 50 pages. Jmsgu3 #678587. Published by jmsgu3 (A0.1074291). Josquin des Prez (c.1450-1521) was a composer of the Renaissance period, widely regarded as one of the greatest composers of all time. His compositions set the standard for polyphonic music and are considered a high point in the history of music. He wrote a wide range of works, including masses, motets, and chansons, and was the first composer to set popular secular tunes as mass movements. His influence can be seen in the works of many later composers, including Johann Sebastian Bach, Antonio Vivaldi, and George Frideric Handel.Josquin des Prez was a prolific composer of chamber music and duets during the Renaissance period. He wrote several types of chamber music and duets, including madrigals, chansons, and motets. His compositions are characterized by their intricate counterpoint, as well as their harmonic richness and emotional expressiveness. His works often featured two voices in harmony, and he was known to use imitation and complex canonic techniques to create interesting musical textures. Josquin's chamber music and duets are renowned for their complexity and beauty, and they remain some of the most influential and admired works from the Renaissance period.Josquin Desprez is widely regarded as one of the most influential composers of the Renaissance period. His innovative use of counterpoint and canon helped to revolutionize the musical landscape of the time. Counterpoint is a technique of combining two or more independent melodies in a way that creates harmony and a cohesive musical texture. Josquin was a master of this technique, often combining multiple voices in complex contrapuntal textures. His use of canon, or round, was also highly influential. Canon involves two or more voices repeating the same melody in different registers and often with different rhythms. Josquin wrote canons in various styles and forms, including the popular “circular canon†and the more complex “strict canon.†He was also an early adopter of the “inverted canon†form, in which the same melody is repeated but in an inverted form. Josquin’s use of counterpoint and canon had a lasting impact on the development of Western music and helped to establish the foundation for many of the musical forms and techniques still used today.Contents: I. Piano Solo - Level 5 - SKU: A0.787139 Composed by Ron Sheffer. 20th Century,Contemporary. Score. 9 pages. Ron Sheffer #4844855. Published by Ron Sheffer (A0.787139). an optimistic, even whimsical piece, initially set by the beat of a metronome, quickly replaced by two repeating notes that represent the awakening and inner call for action. roaring piano passages create further thrust. they feed on each other and gradually soar in a wonderful energetic dance. the metronome reappears, partially driving the beat, partially attempting to defeat the piano. like history, the finale tells us something about destiny’s humor: it is all bound to happen again.

Excellent option for schools and educators teaching this musical form to students and audiences.History of the French overture musical formThe French overture is a musical form widely used in the Baroque period. Its basic formal division is into two parts, which are usually enclosed by double bars and repeat signs. They are complementary in styles (slow in dotted rhythms and fast in fugal style), and the first ends with a half-cadence (i.e., on a dominant harmony) that requires an answering structure with a tonic ending. The second section often but not always ends with a brief recollection of the first, sometimes even repeating some of its melodic contentInstrumentation:-Violin I-Violin II-Viola-Cello-Double Bass.

Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Quintet Clarinet,English Horn,Flute,Oboe - Level 4 - SKU: A0.1268290 By The Beatles. By John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Arranged by Ray Thompson. 20th Century,Contemporary,Pop. 17 pages. RayThompsonMusic #860853. Published by RayThompsonMusic (A0.1268290). Arranged standard wind quintet.A Day in the Life is a song by the English rock band the Beatles that was released as the final track of their 1967 album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Credited to Lennon–McCartney, the opening and closing sections of the song were mainly written by John Lennon, with Paul McCartney primarily contributing the song's middle section. All four Beatles played a role in shaping the final arrangement of the song.Lennon's lyrics were mainly inspired by contemporary newspaper articles, including a report on the death of Guinness heir Tara Browne. The recording includes two passages of orchestral glissandos that were partly improvised in the avant-garde style. In the song's middle segment, McCartney recalls his younger years, which included riding the bus, smoking, and going to class. Following the second crescendo, the song ends with one of the most famous chords in music history, played on several keyboards, that sustains for over forty seconds. My version of the crescendo for 5 instruments! has chromatic scales played in different note values, over a repeating E on bassoon...it seems to work! The melody is taken by the clarinet, oboe and flute. The mp3 is the end of the middle section, leading into the final verse. The video is the complete piece.
