Bass Voice,Vocal Solo - Level 3 - SKU: A0.784829 Composed by McCorkle, Dennis F. Broadway,Christian,Gospel,Musical/Show,Rock. 23 pages. DF McCorkle Music and eBook Publications #11749. Published by DF McCorkle Music and eBook Publications (A0.784829). ACT TWO: Song 3. The King, by Dennis McCorkle, is a contemporary pop-rock musical of the first two kings of Israel, Saul ben Kish and David ben Jesse and explores the contrasting lives and outcome of each man’s choices in life. [1 Chronicles 13:1-3 - And David consulted with the captains of thousands and of hundreds, even with every leader. 2 And David said unto all the assembly of Israel: ‘If it seem good to you, and if it be of Yahweh our God, let us send abroad everywhere unto our brethren that are left in all the land of Israel, and with them to the priests and Levites that are in their cities that have open land about them, that they may gather themselves unto us; 3 and let us bring back the ark of our God to us; for we sought not unto it in the days of Saul.’] [1 Chronicles 13:7-10 - And they set the ark of God upon a new cart, and brought it out of the house of Abinadab; and Uzza and Ahio drove the cart. 8 And David and all Israel played before God with all their might; even with songs, and with harps, and with psalteries, and with timbrels, and with cymbals, and with trumpets. 9 And when they came unto the threshing-floor of Chidon, Uzza put forth his hand to hold the ark; for the oxen stumbled. 10 And the anger of Yahweh was kindled against Uzza, and He smote him, because he put forth his hand to the ark; and there he died before God.] Realizing the need for a central capital from which to govern, DAVID and the united clans capture the fortress of Zion in Jerusalem. Concerned about the people and solidifying the position, DAVID assembles the commanders and leaders of the people to discuss the possibility of relocating the Ark of the Covenant from the house of Abinadab in Kiriath-jearim, where it had been stored for seventy years, to Jerusalem. DAVID orders a new cart be made for its transport, disregarding the directives from God that only permitted the Levites to move the Ark and only carried with the poles on their shoulders [Role it on Down the Highway – Ahio and David’s Troops]. When the Ark reaches the threshing-floor at Nacon, the oxen stumble and Uzzah puts his hand out to steady it and is instantly killed. Also included with your order is our new 20 page catalog of over 150 titles at no additional charge.

Soprano Saxophone Solo - Level 3 - SKU: A0.747036 By Elton John. By Bernie Taupin and Elton John. Arranged by Keith Terrett. Pop,Rock. Individual part. 6 pages. Keith Terrett #5902953. Published by Keith Terrett (A0.747036). Arranged for Bb Soprano Saxophone & Piano, Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word is a song written by Elton John and Bernie Taupin. It was recorded by Elton John and released in 1976, both as a single and as part of the Blue Moves album. It was John's second single released by The Rocket Record Company. The song is a mournful ballad about a romantic relationship which is falling apart. The song also appeared the following year on Greatest Hits Volume II, though for copyright reasons it no longer appears on the current version of that album. It now appears on Greatest Hits 1976–1986, The Very Best of Elton John and in Greatest Hits 1970–2002, as well as a number of other compilations. The song was covered in 2002 by English boy band Blue for their second studio album, One Love (2002). The song was recorded as a collaboration with Elton John, and was the second single from the album. It peaked at number one on the UK Singles Chart on 15 December 2002 and also reached number one in Hungary and the Netherlands. It peaked within the top 10 in an additional 16 countries. In 2004, Elton John and Ray Charles performed the song on Charles' duet album, Genius Loves Company. It would turn out to be the last recording Charles ever did before his death that June. The duet was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals. It was also performed by smooth jazz saxophonist Kenny G on the soprano saxophone featuring Richard Marx on his 2004 album At Last...The Duets Album later that year. The song was a Top 20 hit, reaching No. 11 in the United Kingdom, No. 6 in the United States and No. 3 in Canada. In addition, the song went to No. 1 on the US and Canadian Adult Contemporary charts. In the US, it was certified Gold on 25 January 1977 by the RIAA.The single was the lead single for the eight-track remix compilation Good Morning to the Night in collaboration with Australian remixer Pnau, which came out on 16 July 2012.

Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Quintet Bassoon,Clarinet,Flute,Horn,Oboe - Level 3 - SKU: A0.1325401 Composed by Gustav Holst. Arranged by Ray Thompson. 20th Century,Christmas. 9 pages. RayThompsonMusic #913639. Published by RayThompsonMusic (A0.1325401). Bring Us in Good Ale is a medieval English drinking song celebrating good drink and honoring Our Lady. For the medieval man, convivial drinking was a part of life, and drinks were enjoyed with nearly every meal. The English beverage of choice was ale. In Bring us in Good Ale the singers jocularly excuse themselves from mutton, eggs and pudding and instead stand firm in their call for their favorite drink. As they list all the dishes they refuse, the singers indirectly give thanks for the good season that has led to the plenty they are enjoying.Gustav Holst arranged it for unaccompanied choir as one of his 4 carols Op.34.It is quite short.Arranged here for wind quintet.Bring us in good ale, and bring us in good ale;For our Blessed Lady's sake, bring us in good ale.Bring us in no brown bread, for that is made of bran,Nor bring us in no white bread, there therein is no game; But bring us in good ale.Bring us in no beef, for there is many bones,But bring us in good ale, for that goes down at once; And bring us in good ale.Bring us in no bacon, for that is passing fat,But bring us in good ale, and give us enough of that; And bring us in good ale.Bring us in no mutton, for that is often lean,Nor bring us in no tripes, for they be seldom clean.Bring us in no eggys, for there are many shells,But bring us in good ale, and give us nothing else.Bring us in no butter, for there are many hairs;Nor bring us in no pig's flesh, for that will make us bears.Bring us in no puddings, for therein is all God's good;Nor bring us in no venison, for that is not for our blood; But bring us in good ale.Bring us in no capon's flesh, for that is often dear;Nor bring us in no duck's flesh, for they slobber in the mere; But bring us in good ale. Arranged wind quintet

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 2 - SKU: A0.1033403 Composed by Adam Geibel, Evan Stephens, Grace Gordon, and Will L. Thompson. Arranged by Stacey Oakes. Christian,Gospel,Sacred,Spiritual. Octavo. 12 pages. Stacey Oakes at Whiting Publishing #3878753. Published by Stacey Oakes at Whiting Publishing (A0.1033403). Good for Missionary or Youth Musical Numbers - Soprano/Tenor or Men/Women Choirs This medley was written upon request for a missionary's send-off! It's great for: - Church Services - Missionary Farewells and Homecomings - Firesides - Youth Choirs - Adult Choirs - Soprano and Tenor Duet Purpose/Message: The medley's purpose is to invigorate us and to encourage us to be brave in sharing truth. It emphasizes the concepts of pressing on, having courage, and not fearing. Difficulty: Medium (There are some independent singing sections, some notes at the top of the soprano and tenor range, and a couple spots with less typical harmonies. It is, however, not a difficult piece overall. Those who are accustomed to singing in choirs will have no trouble but will be challenged enough to enjoy the piece.) Range: The notes are within range for a somewhat experienced or serious singer. If using in a choir, you can have the higher notes sung one octave lower by those out of range, or add a harmonic note as needed. There are only a couple of instances where this might be needed. Solutions to Problems: If you have youth afraid to go on missions, this song will help them take courage and be brave. If you have adults who are faltering from fear (as all do on occasion), it is hoped this song will bolster their courage and resolve. Duration of Work: This medley is approximately 4:12 minutes long. Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - SKU: A0.819481 Composed by Sara Garrard. Contemporary,Folk,Patriotic,World. Octavo. 7 pages. Sara Garrard #6092459. Published by Sara Garrard (A0.819481). SATB unaccompanied | Duration: 2m30 | Difficulty: Moderate (needing good breath support) with rehearsal piano.Texts by Robert Louis Stevenson (1850-1894) A setting of two separate texts appearing on Stevenson's memorial in St. Giles Cathedral. The first part is flowing, irregular, folk-like; the second a solemn but joyful hymn. This could be either a concert piece or used in a ceremony of remembrance. 2019 Give us grace and strength to forbear and to persevere. Give us courage and gaiety, and the quiet mind. Spare to us our friends, soften to us our enemies. Bless us, if it may be, in all our innocent endeavours. If it may not, give us the strength to encounter that which is to come, that we may be brave in peril, constant in tribulation, temperate in wrath, and in all changes of fortune, and down to the gates of death, loyal and loving to one another.Under the wide and starry sky,Dig the grave and let me lie.Glad did I live and gladly die,And I laid me down with a will. This be the verse you grave for me:Here he lies where he longed to be;Home is the sailor, home from sea,And the hunter home from the hill.Robert Louis Stevenson, Scotland, prayer, thanksgiving, memorial, funeral, remembrance, folk, anthem. The youtube link is to a piano version of the second half of this piece beginning: Under the wide and starry sky

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 2 - SKU: A0.726371 Composed by Kenneth Baird. Christian,Gospel,Pop. Score. 2 pages. Kenneth Baird Music #12397. Published by Kenneth Baird Music (A0.726371). A joyous song acknowledging that God's plans for each of us are for good...that no matter what challenges you may be facing now, you best days are right in front of you. This is a two-page lead sheet. Lyrics: Though it may seem like a jour-ney of a thou-sand years, Though it may seem like a trail that has no end, There’s a light that’s just a-head, There’s a joy to which we’re led, It can light up a-ny dark-ness, can bright-en a-ny sky, Can make this life a ce-le-bra-tion, a dance to glo-ri-fy... At times, this life can seem so dis-ap-point-ing. So ma-ny trials reach out to shake us from the joy. We may choose to fight a-lone, But, our King, who rules from His hea-ven-ly throne, Can light up a-ny dark-ness, can brigh-ten a-ny sky, Can make this life a ce-le-bra-tion, a dance to glo-ri-fy... The best is yet to come! The best is yet to come! Take His hand, the mu-sic’s play-ing. The dance of life’s be-gun. The best is yet to come! The best is yet to come! Don’t wait a-no-ther day or min-ute. Em-brace this life that you’ve be gi-ven. De-light in Him for He is ri-sen! The best is yet to come!. You’ve been blessed with a gift that’s on-ly yours to share. You can shine a smile that no one else can wear. In His heart you have a home That’s yours and yours a-lone. He will light up e-very dark-ness, will brigh-ten e-very sky, He will make this life a ce-le-bra-tion, a dance to glo-ri-fy...

Cello Solo - Level 5 - SKU: A0.526314 By Grover Washington Jr. With Bill Withers. By Bill Withers, Ralph MacDonald, and William Salter. Arranged by Sarah Cellobat Chaffee. Jazz,Pop,Wedding. Individual part. 2 pages. Sarah Cellobat Chaffee #6444799. Published by Sarah Cellobat Chaffee (A0.526314). Just The Two Of Us was released in 1981 by Grover Washington Jr. and Bill Withers, and quickly became a popular hit; in addition to reaching #2 on the Billboard charts, the song won a Grammy award for Best R&B Song. Now a pop culture staple, the song has been covered by numerous other artists and has become an iconic love song for all ages -- so you can't go wrong having this one in your gig books! Originally written for a wedding ceremony, this Cellobat arrangement for solo cello will also be perfect for cocktail hour, receptions, proposals, or any other occasion that needs a funky cello groove. No accompaniment part -- it stands alone, or can be played with a backing track for solo gigs (note that if you're getting a track, this chart is in the key of E minor). Rated advanced for a number of tricky syncopated rhythms throughout; this will be sightreadable for professionals but it might be good to look over the rhythms first :) And most importantly, have fun! Sarah “Cellobat†Chaffee is an in-demand acoustic & electric cellist and string arranger. Currently, she performs with legendary rock band Aerosmith in their “Deuces Are Wild†residency show, and she is the principal cellist for the Raiders House Band, playing for a crowd of 60,000 at all of the team's home games. She also plays with many other groups including Premiere Wedding Music, Bella Electric Strings, the Femmes Of Rock, and David Perrico’s Pop Strings Orchestra. Sarah has performed and recorded with numerous other artists including Disturbed, Mötley Crüe, Celine Dion, Halsey, Michael Bublé, Sarah Brightman, and Lady A. She is the exclusive arranger for a number of award-winning wedding and event companies all across the United States, including Premiere Wedding Music, Las Vegas Music Oasis, and Impulse Strings, and she has created custom arrangements for many other ensembles all over the world. Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Quintet Bass Clarinet,Bassoon,Flute,Horn,Oboe - Level 3 - SKU: A0.1462732 Composed by Stephen Schwartz. Arranged by Mark A. Craig / Craig Music Publishers (ASCAP). 21st Century,Broadway,Film/TV,Musical/Show,Pop,Wedding. 18 pages. Mark A. Craig #1041512. Published by Mark A. Craig (A0.1462732). In anticipation of the upcoming release of the new movie Wicked, the film version of the smash Broadway musical, here is a new woodwind quintet arrangement of Stephen Schwartz's beautiful ballad For Good. It's perfect for weddings, pops concerts, movie nights, Broadway nights, children's or educational programming. This arrangement can be performed by advanced high school and college ensembles and professional quintets. I have included an alternate bass clarinet in lieu of a missing bassoon. I am also currently working on an arrangement of Popular from Wicked. Keep an eye out for that one; it should work quite well for WQ. If you like this arrangement, you might like my woodwind quintet arrangement of The Way You Look Tonight, a pop standard featured in the film My Best Friend's Wedding.
