Piano Solo - Level 3 - SKU: A0.930001 Composed by Melissa Blanton. Contemporary,Instructional. Score. 2 pages. Melissa Blanton #5375295. Published by Melissa Blanton (A0.930001). River Flow is a piano solo for the student learning minor keys. Left hand stays in F position. Right hand has two positions and the change is indicated in the music. You will enjoy the flow of this piece and the beautiful borrowed chord at the end with a ritardando to emphasize the harmonic change. Ends at a tempo with a rolled chord in the right hand. (If you use Alfred, this would be perfect at level 3.).

Piano Solo - Level 3 - SKU: A0.1108136 By Alan R. Thompson. By Alan R. Thompson. Arranged by Alan R. Thompson. Blues,Classical,Pop,Rock,Traditional. Score. 407 pages. Alan R Thompson #710754. Published by Alan R Thompson (A0.1108136). This book represents an invitation for you to explore part of the vast universe of melodic and harmonic musical options. This “STRUCTURED GUIDE†will provide building blocks for the creation of original music, be useful in increasing technical proficiency in your instrument of choice, improve your sight-reading skills and help you develop a better ear for music. This book lists in standard sheet music notation over 75 scales (and their Relative Modes) and over 75+ associated chords organized in each of the 12 Key Signatures (or enharmonic equivalent keys) found in Western Music. Note that the sheet music in this book is organized by Key Signature (Relative Modes) and not by Tonic/Tonal Center (Parallel Modes) as in separate book. This organization helps promote a more fluid approach for improvising without need for excessive mental calculations to transpose keys as you're playing. Each Key Signature Section is 28 pages of sheet music, which could take several hours to play depending on how familiar you are with the material and how much you improvise thereon. Scales and Modes listed include the Major, Natural Minor, Harmonic Minor, Melodic Minor, Melodic Minor Ascending/Natural Minor Descending, Lydian Diminished/Lydian b3, Whole Tone, Octatonic/Diminished and Chromatic Scales. Also, numerous Bebop and Pentatonic Scales (traditional & exotic), Augmented, Double Harmonic Scales and numerous unique non-standard Scales are referenced, etc. Chords from triads up to 13ths are presented in arpeggiated & as well as block format with inversions, along with SCALE SUGGESTIONS for these chords. Audio sample plays through a Grand Staff version in C-Major / A-Minor. Piano Solo - Level 4 - SKU: A0.499760 Composed by S. G. Potts. 20th Century,Contemporary,Romantic Period,Standards. Score. 18 pages. S. G. Potts #3512109. Published by S. G. Potts (A0.499760). The Raymond Variations for Piano (Set 1), received its world premiere on 2nd December 2015 at the 1901 Arts Club London, performed by Lorraine Womack-Banning as part of a memorial tribute concert to her late husband Raymond Banning (former professor of pianoforte at Trinity College London). The Variations are based on the three Andantino themes which form a central part of the ‘Raymond Overture’ written in 1851 by French composer Ambroise Thomas: 1811-1896. There are nine piano variations in total; these include a mix of both full and short partial variations (including a very short declamatory two chord introductory variation). The variations are not numbered or set-apart in a conventional manner, rather they form part of a continuous whole, and are separated only by bridge passages and/or cadence points; they last a little under eight minutes in duration, and strongly exploit the passionate elements of Thomas’s themes. They have been written for the most part in an accessible tonal style (with a passing nod to Messrs. Beethoven and J.S. Bach) and are based predominately in the home key of D minor, but they do also take advantage of many 20th and 21st century harmonic techniques where deemed appropriate: e.g. added note chords; cluster chords; percussive chords, and melodic deflection. In particular, the interval of the major 7th and its enharmonic equivalent(s) (the most distinctive interval in the main andantino theme from the overture) is heard in various different guises throughout the variations: this includes its inversion the minor 2nd which has a very distinctive sharp dissonant quality. Much play is made of these intervals – to somewhat humorous effect in variation 8 (the joker in the pack) heard some three quarters into the set, here the dissonant interval is pounded out double forte before hastily leading into some boisterous cluster harmonic instability; then quietly begins variation 9 which duly brings the set to a close. Look out for the sting in the tail!

Composed by J. S. Bach - C. Gounod. Arranged by Colin Kirkpatrick. Praise & Worship, Easter, Wedding, Bar or Bat Mitzvah, Funeral. Piano Reduction, Solo Part. 6 pages. Published by Colin Kirkpatrick Publications
This ever-popular piece is often performed at weddings, funerals and many other solemn ceremonial events. It has always been a favourite among instrumental players and often used in recitals or concert encores. In 1853, the well-known French composer Charles Gounod added his own melody over a rippling keyboard accompaniment which was a slightly adapted version of the Prelude No. 1 in C major, BWV846, from Book I of J. S. Bach's The Well-Tempered Clavier, published in 1722. The title of the ?combined? piece was Mditation sur le Premier Prlude de Piano de S. Bach. Gounod?s original arrangement transposed Bach?s keyboard part from C major into F major and it was scored for violin (or cello), organ and piano. In 1859, the French music publishing company Jacques-Lopold Heugel brought out a vocal version based on the familiar Latin text. Ave Maria (Hail Mary) is a traditional Catholic prayer addressed to the Virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus.
The version of Bach's prelude which Gounod used included the so-called "Schwencke measure" (m. 27 in this arrangement), a measure (bar) allegedly added by the German composer and pianist Christian Friedrich Gottlieb Schwencke (1767-1822) in an attempt to correct what was considered a harmonic weakness in the original. Whether there actually was a ?harmonic weakness? (or possibly an error in the manuscript) remains a matter of conjecture but the fact remains that the most familiar-sounding version of this piece, recorded countless times by both singers and instrumentalists includes this Schwencke measure. It is therefore included in this arrangement.
Some published arrangements show minor inconsistencies in the rhythm of the melody. This arrangement uses the familiar rhythm of the Ave Maria version as it appeared in the 1859 edition.

Composed by J. S. Bach - C. Gounod. Arranged by Colin Kirkpatrick. Praise & Worship, Easter, Wedding, Bar or Bat Mitzvah, Funeral. Score, Solo Part. 6 pages. Published by Colin Kirkpatrick Publications
This ever-popular piece is often performed at weddings, funerals and many other solemn
ceremonial events. It has always been a favorite among instrumental players and often used in
recitals or concert encores. This arrangement by Colin Kirkpatrick has been transposed into B
flat to feature the middle to upper range of the saxophone. In is ideal for the intermediate
player who can manage a top ?b? with confidence.
In 1853, the well-known French composer Charles Gounod added his own melody over a rippling
keyboard accompaniment which was a slightly adapted version of the Prelude No. 1 in C major,

27 in this arrangement), a measure (bar) allegedly added by the German composer and pianist
Christian Friedrich Gottlieb Schwencke (1767-1822) in an attempt to correct what was considered
a harmonic weakness in the original. Whether there actually was a ?harmonic weakness? (or
possibly an error in the manuscript) remains a matter of conjecture but the fact remains that
the most familiar-sounding version of this piece, recorded countless times by both singers and
instrumentalists includes this Schwencke measure. It is therefore included in this arrangement.
Some published arrangements show minor inconsistencies in the rhythm of the melody. This
arrangement uses the familiar rhythm of the Ave Maria version as it appeared in the 1859
edition.

Composed by J. S. Bach - C. Gounod. Arranged by Colin Kirkpatrick. Praise & Worship, Easter, Mother's Day, Wedding, Bar or Bat Mitzvah. Solo Part. 6 pages. Published by Colin Kirkpatrick Publications
This ever-popular piece is often performed at weddings, funerals and many other solemn ceremonial events. It has always been a favorite among instrumental players and often used in recitals or concert encores.
Piano Accompaniment, Viola - Advanced Intermediate - Composed by Richard E Brown. Contemporary Classical, Repertoire. Score, Solo Part. 33 pages. Published by Dacker Music
As the title indicates, Sonatina for Viola and Piano closely follows sonata form
a somewhat smaller scale. Tonality and tonal relationships are basic to sonata form,
and in this sonatina, the tonal relationships within and between the movements are
all based on seconds. The movements are:
1. Allegro moderato, a fairly strict sonata-allegro in B minor.
2. Andante, a theme and variations in B-flat major, an enharmonic minor second
relationship to the outer movements.
3. Vivace, an abridged sonata-rondo in the home key of B minor

Musical elements in We Three Kings late beginner piano sheet music - Key of D minor - Left hand intervals (harmonic and melodic) - Right hand melody with occasional secondary notes - Basic rhythm (dotted half notes, half notes, quarter notes, eighth notes) - A melodic introduction - Finger numbers - A few ledger lines Teaching tips for We Three Kings sheet music Students love the chorus, where both the right hand and left hand play intervals together. However, some students get too eager and rush through this part. This will lead to a great discussion where fast is not always the solution to exciting parts. #wethreekings #christmaspiano #beginnerpiano #sheetmusic.

Anastace #976704. Published by Anastace (A0.1393223). Here is the full piano vocal version of “The Leaves Around Me Fallingâ€, as heard on my YouTube channel and in many comforting, beautiful funeral playlists. This version is in A minor to suit singers with higher voices [the melody extends from D4-D5 for a comfortable soprano range], and has the exact piano accompaniment as well as full melody and lyrics for a soloist or choir. It works well as a solo or congregational song for any autumn or funeral service, featuring the meaningful lyrics of Henry Francis Lyte reminding us of the swiftness of this life, and the hope we have for the life beyond. Also included at the end of the file is a separate printout of both the piano and vocal parts separately for ease of practice and rehearsal. The original hymn was very beautiful but I thought a minor setting would be more fitting for the solemn lyrics, so I wrote an entirely new melody and harmonic arrangement, which can be found on all streaming platforms as well as Youtube, where lyric videos of this and other songs are readily available for church or personal use. Not just a hymn for September and October, I've found myself going back to this song often, as it captures the rich beauty and yet sadness of the autumn season, and still somehow brings comfort amidst the fast-changing seasons of the earth and of our lives. I hope you also are blessed by this song and arrangement! Also available, by searching Stacey Plays Hymns and the song title on this site, are the following versions:Piano and Vocal in E Minor for easier playing [vocal range A3-A4]Piano and Vocal in F Minor to match the original recording [vocal range Bb3-Bb4]Lead Sheet Version in F Minor [vocal range Bb3-Bb4] [as well as more detailed chords]Lead Sheet Version in E Minor for easier playing [vocal range A3-A4]For other formats including large print, different vocal ranges, or extended choral SATB versions, please write me at staceyplayshymns@gmail.com and I'll be glad to make them especially for you. Piano Solo - Advanced - Composed by Antonio Vivaldi (1678-1741). Arranged by Mario Stallbaumer. Baroque Period, Repertoire. 8 pages. Published by Mario Stallbaumer
Here's how to play Vivaldi's "Winter" on piano!
With this sheet music, you get an accurate, beautiful piano arrangement of the first movement of Vivaldi's "Winter" violin concerto.
Antonio Vivaldi (1678 - 1741) wrote four violin concertos that became known as the "Four Seasons" (Op. 8).
Each of the concertos is dedicated to a specific season - the fourth one (Op. 8 No. 4 in F minor, RV 297) is about Winter.
The first movement of the concerto ("Allegro non molto") is a stunning piece full of beautiful harmonic sequences and challenging scales for the solo violin.
It's certainly a challenge to play Vivaldi's "Winter" on piano - with this sheet music, you can master it perfectly!
If you like this arrangement, please consider leaving a review - it would mean a lot.

Piano Solo - Level 5 - SKU: A0.1189809 By Brian Golden. By Brian Golden. Arranged by Brian Golden. Classical,Contemporary. Score. 12 pages. Brian Golden #789404. Published by Brian Golden (A0.1189809). Prelude 2 in A Minor Aolian from 24 Preludes for the Piano in Major and Minor Modes by composer Brian Golden   The creative concept in writing these preludes is to provide a link to past preludes written for the keyboard, and in particular to the works of J.S. Bach and Frederic Chopin, whose works stand as essential repertoire for any student of the piano.  Using Bach’s and Chopin’s examples, my goal was to compose in all twenty-four keys, yet offer my own variation on the progression of key signatures – Bach’s being a pattern of major to parallel minor progressing chromatically through all keys, and Chopin’s a pattern of major to relative minor keys progressing clockwise through the circle of fifths.  In order to expand my harmonic and melodic possibilities, I have included the modal keys rather than only the major and harmonic minor keys, and have chosen to work counterclockwise through the circle of fifths, which is a more natural harmonic progression.  Therefore, all major preludes resolve from one to another V-I, as well as do all the minor preludes.  While there are seven modal scales, I decided to leave out the locrian modes for the following reasons.  First, due to the diminished fifth, the locrian mode cannot be thought of as either major nor minor.  Second, the locrian mode did not have a relative key to pair with, since there were no other keys with the identical characteristic notes.  In creating the key architecture, I determined that there was only one solution to pairing major and relative minor scales based on a shared parent key and characteristic note - ionian/aolian, mixolydian/phrygian and lydian/dorian.  This specific order of modal scales is the only order that would enable composing in all twelve key signatures.  Finally, the inspiration for each prelude came from playing through several other preludes in the same keys - mostly by Bach and Chopin - and letting their themes and styles influence me in the writing of my own.
