Choral Choir,Choral (SATB) - Level 3 - SKU: A0.522271 Composed by Colin Kirkpatrick. Christmas,Contemporary,Praise & Worship. 13 pages. Colin Kirkpatrick Publications #6463439. Published by Colin Kirkpatrick Publications (A0.522271). Sing! For a Boy has been BornThis is a really lively setting of a colorful text by Danny Alorean. The main theme is in 7/8 time, divided into 2, 2, and 3. It might look a bit daunting to some, but it's easy when counted as 1-2-1-2-1-2-3. Its recommended that singers practise this rhythm first, perhaps by clapping on the off-beats. There’s plenty of contrast in the piece and singers are sure to enjoy the music. It’s scored for SATB choir with keyboard accompaniment. The middle section uses much vocal counterpoint and has almost a waltz feeling to it. Choir members need to be reasonably experienced at singing independent vocal parts. The piano part is of moderate difficulty but could be handled by any competent pianist. This is a new arrangement (as of Seotember 2023) in which the music has been transposed down one tone from the original. This joyful anthem would be a great addition to your Christmas concert or service. The vocal range is as follows: Soprano: C4 - F5; Alto: A3 - D5; Tenor C3 - E flat 4; Bass F2 - B flat 3 (Duration 03:03).

Published by Colin Kirkpatrick Publications (A0.522272). Sing! For a Boy has been Born This is a really lively setting of a colorful text by Danny Alorean. This is a revised version (September 2023) of the original arrangement and has been transposed down a tone with improved voice movement. The main theme is in 7/8 time, divided into 2, 2, and 3. It might sound tricky but singers will soon get to feel the rhythm and become completely at home in this time signature. Its recommended that the singers practise by counting 1-2-1-2-1-2-3 perhaps by also clapping on the off-beats. There’s plenty of contrast in the piece and singers are sure to enjoy the music. It’s scored for SSA choir (or boy choir) with keyboard accompaniment. The middle section uses much vocal counterpoint and has almost a waltz feeling to it so the singers would need to feel confident with indepedent vocal lines. There are no divisi sections and the piano part is of moderate difficulty but should be playable by any competent pianist. This joyful, rhythmic anthem would be a great addition to your Christmas concert or service. The voice ranges are as follows: Soprano 1 (C4 -F5); Soprano 2 (C4 - D5); Alto (A flat 3 – D5). It might look a bit daunting to some, but it's easy when counted as 1-2-1-2-1-2-3. Its recommended that singers practise this rhythm first, perhaps by clapping on the off-beats. There’s plenty of contrast in the piece and singers are sure to enjoy the music. It’s scored for SAT choir with keyboard accompaniment. Published by Colin Kirkpatrick Publications (A0.522055). This is a new setting of the famous words by Christina Rossetti (1830-1894) and it is in 5/8 time. Singers will easily get into the habit of thinking this is terms of three beats followed by two beats. The piano part is of medium difficulty. This piece will be a popular addition to your Nativity play or Christmas services. Published by Colin Kirkpatrick Publications (A0.522049). This is a dramatic and attractive setting of the traditional text by Nahum Tate (1652-1715). Tate was an Anglo-Irish poet, hymn writer and lyricist, who became Poet Laureate in 1692. He’s best known for The History of King Lear, his 1681 adaptation of Shakespeare's play. He also wrote the libretto for Henry Purcell's timeless opera, Dido and Aeneas. The traditional melody of While Shepherds Watched is well-known, but this new setting brings in a wealth of new musical material. Mixed choir - SKU: S9.Q6579 For SATB choir. Composed by Alexander Goehr. This edition: choral score. Choral Music of Our Time. Downloadable, choral score. Duration 4 minutes. Schott Music - Digital #Q6579. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q6579). English.Written in memory of Erich Fried (1921-1988), a writer who wrote the libretto for Goehr's opera Arden Must Die and whose poems were set in Warngedichte (op. 22), Carol for St Steven is a short and playful carol about St Steven as a servant boy in King Herod’s Hall. Seeing the Star and realising that Jesus has been born, the boy tells King Herod whose overreaction results in Steven being stoned to death (explaining why the Vigil of St Stephen takes place on Christmas Night). With a treble soloist singing the lines of Steven and a bass singing the parts of Herod, Goehr’s carol for St Steven is an alternative carol in many senses, but one that would be ideal for both amateur and professional choirs looking for new repertoire.

Choral Choir,Choral (SSA) - Level 2 - SKU: A0.522046 Composed by Colin Kirkpatrick. A Cappella,Christmas,Praise & Worship,Sacred. 10 pages. Colin Kirkpatrick Publications #4607903. Published by Colin Kirkpatrick Publications (A0.522046). And a star is shining in the East A lovely melody in 3/4 time, quietly reflective with a short a cappella section in the middle. Colin Kirkpatrick’s setting of the text by Danny Alorean is sure to please, and quite easy to sing. The text looks at Bethlehem through the eyes of the shepherds. This piece would be ideal for a nativity play or part of a Christmas service or concert. The SSA voicing makes this choral piece ideal for a girl-choir or boy-choir or indeed any community choir which has no tenor or bass singers. The vocal ranges are: Soprano 1: C4 - F5; Soprano 2: B flat 5 - D5 and Alto: A flat 3 - C5. (Duration: 02:50)If you like this choral piece, you might also be interested in the other Colin Kirkpatrick Nativity Anthems in this SSA series (also available for SAT and SATB): See this Little Town, I Saw Three Ships, Sing! Nineteen Skeletal Duets for Trombones is a set of duets of easy to moderately difficult specifically for teachers and students in private lessons. The first 15 duets are arranged from Fifteen Safari Duets for Tubas which was composed in 1989 for playing with my tuba students at Berklee College of Music. They are at different levels of difficulty and in various styles so that we always had duets to play no matter what was the ability of the student. The additional four duets were added in 2020 for trombones for this set. The title of each duet is also a name for a bone in the human body, hence the name Skeletal Duets. There is something in each duet for students to learn: the basics of tone production, rhythms, melodic phrasing, jazz, graphic notation, etc. Most are sight readable and some have been performed in concerts. Nineteen Skeletal Duets for Euphoniums are the same duets but in treble clef. Twenty-two Skeletal Duets for Hornsuses the first 19 of the trombone set with three additional duets added. Some of the trombone and horn duets are in the same key so they can be played together.
1. Cranium
This duet presents the cantabile ?singing? style as studied for playing the trombone. I find that this duet helps the student much like the melodies of Borgodni (Rochet) etudes.
2. Stirrup
This duet provides an opportunity to read basic rhythms and articulations. I find that the more advanced students can read in a faster tempo while the less skilled students work best in the slower tempos ? a common choice for all of the duets.
3. Humerus
This waltz helps the student match phrasing in a cantabile setting. There are a few instances where the teacher (playing the first part) plays a phrase then the student plays a similar phrase.
4. Vertebra
This is in a ?rock? style with syncopated rhythms with cantabile melodies. Articulations are especially important in this duet.
5. Axis
Legato scales and syncopated rhythms are the features of this duet. This is a good exercise for legato playing on trombone, especially when the legato tongue is needed versus when the trombonist does not need to tongue when moving across partials.
6. Tibia
This duet alternates in rock style and swing. Articulations and manipulation of ?swing? rhythms are important.
7. Clavicle
The key of A for this duet provides variation for the students.
8. Fibula nd
This duet uses the easiest of rhythms and range, especially for the 2
9. Scapula
This duet is non-metric and uses graphic notation. This was a favorite duet of my students as many had never experienced this notation before.
10. Atlas ndThis is an Invention in the Bach style. This is probably the best duet to play when the 2 part is played by bass trombone.
(student) part.
11. Radius
This duet is in a ?Medium Swing? jazz style. Each part has a chance to play a little bit of a ?walking? bass line. Articulations and manipulation of ?swing? rhythms are important in this duet.
12. Femur
This duet works on double time and half time tempo changes.
13. Patella
This is another duet that includes graphic notation. In this duet ?Free rapid legato lines? are used.
14. Anvil
This gallop displays different types of articulation.
15. Hammer
This duet is in the style of a fanfare.
16. Rib
This duet is a melody, ?Magallon Blues?, that I originally composed when I taught at a summer music camp in Magallon, Spain. In that camp each of the students would practice playing a jazz solo. This duet also has jazz chord changes so you can add piano or guitar. The use of drums is also an added option.
17. Sacrum
This duet is a short arrangement of Mozart?s ?Eine Kleine Nachtmusic?.
18. Ulna
This duet is a short arrangement of the traditional Irish folk song ?Londonderry Air?, more commonly known as ?Danny Boy?.
19. Ilium
This duet is a short arrangement of the Beethoven?s song ?Ode to Joy? which represents the triumph of universal brotherhood against war and desperation.

Guitar,Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - SKU: A0.1143939 Composed by Music by Allison Brewster Franzetti • Lyrics by June Rachelson-Ospa. Arranged by Allison Brewster Franzetti. Broadway,Contemporary,Musical/Show. Score. 87 pages. Shining Sharon Music #744248. Published by Shining Sharon Music (A0.1143939). 11 songs, by June Rachelson-Ospa and Allison Brewster Franzetti, from this very funny and sometimes sobering musical for Young People in Piano-Vocal settings help to tell the story of a boy, born colorless. As such, he has been bullied, because everyone else around him has lots of colors. Ostracized, Weedle sets out to find a companion/soul-mate, Marvello Maxumo Marmaduke (who ends up having three heads) after he receives a sympathetic letter from him. Like Weedle, Marmaduke has been forced into seclusion by the Falafarinians of Falifarinum, so together they hatch a plan for revenge on those who hurt have them. Weedle then must decide if he will take revenge on those who have wronged him, or if he will live his life in peace. After choosing to take revenge, Weedle feels so bad that he cries. Then, to everyone's amazement, his tears are full of vibrant colors, proving that he had it within himself all the time... Bullying has become an epidemic, causing many children pain. Our story confronts this issue in a fun-filled way, without shying away from the issue at hand. Perhaps, this show is needed now more than ever! It is the hope of the authors that the producers will utilize actors of all genders, abilities/disabilities, and special needs, aiming to entertain and teach an important life lesson to kids: that anything is possible with the right outlook. Teaching children and families to accept people for who they are, no matter what they look like… is vital, especially when the outcome includes forgiveness. From Leicester Bay Theatricals. The most moving theatrical experience... Peter Filichia, Broadway Radio The True Colors of Weedle is also available as an illustrated storybook for children in Kindle and Paperback editions. Look for it.

Chamber Orchestra - Level 3 - SKU: A0.828700 Composed by Karl Friedrich Abel. Arranged by Guido Menestrina. Classical. Score and parts. 16 pages. Guido Menestrina #122893. Published by Guido Menestrina (A0.828700). Karl Friedrich Abel - Sinfonia Op. 7 n. 1 - Secondo Movimento - Adagio Edited by Guido Menestrina - Full score and single parts for 2 oboe, 2 F Horns (originally cor de chasse, tacet on 2nd movement), 2 violins, viola and cello (originally basse de violon). Abel was born in Köthen, a small German city, where his father, Christian Ferdinand Abel, had worked for years as the principal viola da gamba and cello player in the court orchestra. In 1723 Abel senior became director of the orchestra, when the previous director, Johann Sebastian Bach moved to Leipzig. The young Abel later boarded at Leipzig's Thomasschule, where he was taught by Bach. On Bach's recommendation in 1743 he was able to join Johann Adolph Hasse's court orchestra at Dresden where he remained for fifteen years.[3][5] In 1759 (or 1758 according to Chambers),[1] he went to England and became chamber-musician to Queen Charlotte, in 1764.[3][5] He gave a concert of his own compositions in London, performing on various instruments, one of which was a five-string cello known as a pentachord, which had been recently invented by John Joseph Merlin.[6] In 1762, Johann Christian Bach, the eleventh son of J.S. Bach, joined him in London, and the friendship between him and Abel led, in 1764 or 1765, to the establishment of the famous Bach-Abel concerts, England's first subscription concerts. In those concerts, many celebrated guest artists appeared, and many works of Haydn received their first English performance. For ten years the concerts were organized by Mrs. Theresa Cornelys, a retired Venetian opera singer who owned a concert hall at Carlisle House in Soho Square, then the height of fashionable events. In 1775 the concerts became independent of her, to be continued by Abel and Bach until Bach's death in 1782. Abel still remained in great demand as a player on various instruments new and old. He traveled to Germany and France between 1782 and 1785, and upon his return to London, became a leading member of the Grand Professional Concerts at the Hanover Square Rooms in Soho. Throughout his life he had enjoyed excessive living, and his drinking probably hastened his death, which occurred in London on 20 June 1787. One of Abel's works became famous due to a misattribution: in the 19th century, a manuscript symphony in the hand of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, was catalogued as his Symphony no. 3 in E flat, K. 18, and was published as such in the first complete edition of Mozart's works by Breitkopf & Härtel. Later, it was discovered that this symphony was actually the work of Abel, copied by the boy Mozart-evidently for study purposes-while he was visiting London in 1764. That symphony was originally published as the concluding work in Abel's Six Symphonies, Op. 7. Follow the score on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_urGVpH7Pls.

Piano Solo - Advanced Intermediate - Digital Download By Queen. Arranged by Mario Stallbaumer. 6 pages. Published by Mario Stallbaumer
With these piano sheets, you can play ?Bohemian Rhapsody? on piano!
It?s an accurate piano arrangement of the whole piece, including all parts, full melody & instrumental solos.
I believe this is the most accurate piano arrangement of the song you will find anywhere.
It?s a ?Bohemian Rhapsody? piano version in the song?s original key, it?s playable, and it sounds fantastic!
I also created sheet music of the same piano arrangement with the song?s full lyrics - you can get it here: https://www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/21155920
?Bohemian Rhapsody? was, of course, written by the one and only Freddie Mercury.
It was included on Queen?s 1975 album ?A Night at the Opera? and became one of Queen?s biggest hits. Today, it is considered by many to be the best classic rock song of all time.
There?s a good reason why the 2018 biographical film about Freddie Mercuy (played by Rami Malek) is named after this song - arguably his greatest composition.
?Bohemian Rhapsody? is famous for its diverse parts: from the a-capella-intro to rock ballad verses, from hard rock guitar solos to operatic sections.
?Bohemian Rhapsody? really is the whole package - and all parts of it can sound surprisingly great on piano, if played right!
In my experience, many arrangements of the song seem to be lacking something: They are not accurate, don?t sound powerful enough, there are important parts or even whole sections missing.
So I took my time to create a piano arrangement of the song which I feel does justice to this wonderful piece.
I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I do!
Here are the full lyrics to ?Bohemian Rhapsody?:
?Is this the real life?
Is this just fantasy?
Caught in a landslide
No escape from reality
Open your eyes
Look up to the skies and see
I'm just a poor boy, I need no sympathy
Because I'm easy come, easy go
A little high, little low
Anyway the wind blows, doesn't really matter to me, to me
Mama, just killed a man
Put a gun against his head
Pulled my trigger, now he's dead
Mama, life had just begun
But now I've gone and thrown it all away
Mama, oh oh
Didn't mean to make you cry
If I'm not back again this time tomorrow
Carry on, carry on, as if nothing really matters
Too late, my time has come
Sends shivers down my spine
Body's aching all the time
Goodbye everybody I've got to go
Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth
Mama, oh oh (anyway the wind blows)
I don't want to die
Sometimes wish I'd never been born at all
I see a little silhouetto of a man
Scaramouch, Scaramouch will you do the Fandango
Thunderbolt and lightning very very frightening me
Gallileo, Gallileo, Gallileo, Gallileo, Gallileo, figaro, magnifico
I'm just a poor boy and nobody loves me
He's just a poor boy from a poor family
Spare him his life from this monstrosity
Easy come easy go will you let me go
Bismillah, no we will not let you go, let him go
Bismillah, we will not let you go, let him go
Bismillah, we will not let you go, let me go
(Will not let you go) let me go (never, never let you go) let me go (never let me go)
Oh oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no
Oh mama mia, mama mia, mama mia let me go
Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me for me for me
So you think you can stop me and spit in my eye
So you think you can love me and leave me to die
Oh baby can't do this to me baby
Just gotta get out just gotta get right outta here
Oh oh oh yeah, oh oh yeah
Nothing really matters
Anyone can see
Nothing really matters
Nothing really matters to me
Anyway the wind blows?
