This one-movement piece with a duration of 11 minutes stems from the estate of Giselher Klebe who died in 2009. The work is delightful to play, rich in gesture, easy on the ear and ideal for private music making. Moreover it constitutes a valuable addition to the repertoire for violin, clarinet and piano, an appealing combination of instruments, for which composers such as Ives, Bartók, A. Dieter Ammann was born in Aarau Switzerland in 1962. He grew up in a very musical family. After secondary school he began a course in school music at the Akademie für Schul- und Kirchenmusik in Lucerne. At the same time he studied for several semesters at the Swiss Jazz School in Bern. After this he worked for a period as a musician in improvised music and jazz. He has performed at international festivals including Cologne Willisau Antwerp and Lugano. Recordings and studio sessions brought him into contact with diverse artists such as Eddie Harris and Udo Lindenberg. He then took a degree in theory and composition at the Musikakademie Basel and attended master classeswith Wolfgang Rihm and Witold Lutoslawski.In the 1990s the main focus of Ammann?s work changed to composition. He has received numerous national and international prizes for his orchestral and chamber music works (including from the Aargauer Kuratorium the main prize in the International Composition Competition of the IBLA Foundation New York the Franz Liszt Scholarship awarded by the European Capital of Culture Weimar first prize in the Young Composers in Europe Competition Leipzig and Composers? Prize for Composition from the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation Munich 2008). In 2010 he was composer-in-residence at the Lucerne Festival and in 2013 at the Wittener Tage für neue Kammermusik and the Sommerliche Musiktage Hitzacker as well as 2015 at the Festival reMusic in St. Petersburg. His orchestral works have been conducted by Pierre Boulez Valery Gergiev Jonathan Nott Peter Rundel Peter Hirsch and Jürg Henneberger. Ammann is Professor of Theory and Composition at the Lucerne School of Music and a lecturer at the Bern University of the Arts.

Eb Instruments-This CD (including music booklet) has not especially been worked out for the use in musical education. It is on the contrary an audio CD which has been recorded for sale as a trio CD under my name. Mixing the recordings at the studio however gave us the idea to offer this CD Legal Paradizer also as a play along CD. For this reason I have never taken a pedagogic approach to the musical conception of the pieces performed which in my opinion is exactly what makes these recordings so unique. The structure of none of the pieces is for instance as simple as that of the tunes on some other play along CDs. Therefore I have taken the liberty of adding a short explanationand/or comment on every piece meant to make it easier for you to follow the road map of the tunes. Additionally I have explained some stylistic features to help you interprete the individual pieces. Working with my students has shown me how much fun it can be to also offer groove and funk oriented music on a CD to play along. In most of the pieces you do not necessarily have to follow the changes; you should rather develop simple ideas in time. A real strong emphasis is here placed on the term groove.

These interesting studies have a range of keys with 3 sharps and 3 flats while their tempo is quite varied. They would be ideal for upper-intermediate/lower-advanced level players. Vincenzo Gambaro is an Italian Clarinettist and arranger who spent most of his life in France where he founded a music publishers and shop in Paris. He also transcribed some work of Mozart Beethoven andHaydn and was known as a virtuoso composer of wind music.
