 WOZNYA est une pièce pour Bande de Hautbois intégrant des élèves hautboïstes et bassonistes de cycle 1 and 2, Cette oeuvre a été commandée par l'association ' Bémols Perplexes ' sur l'impulsion de son directeur artistique : Claude Villevieille, Elle a été jouée pour la première fois le 9 février 01/01/14 à la maison de la musique de Nanterre (92) lors du concert des 20 ans de ' La Bande des Hautbois ', Une deuxième pièce, LUSKELL, est venue compléter cette commande,WOZNYA est une sorte de chevauchée héroïque, La métrique est binaire tout au long de l'oeuvre, Le premier thème de cette pièce (en sol mineur) est exposé par les élèves hautboïstes et bassonistes, Ils sont accompagnés par la caisse-claire, Le deuxième thème (en do mineur) est proposé par les musiciens d'une Bande de Hautbois, Ces derniers enchaînent avec une reprise de la première mélodie légèrement modifiée, La fin de celle-ci voit se rapprocher les élèves et la Bande de Hautbois, La redite du deuxième motif est entendue en tutti, Et ce sont les élèves qui terminent la pièce avec un petit rappel du premier thème,NB : Les parties de hautbois et basson proposent quatre niveaux de difficultés pour des élèves de 1er cycle et début de 2nd cycle en conservatoire ou école de musique, Les parties A étant les plus simples (débutant) et D les plus difficiles, B and C correspondent à des niveaux intermédiaires entre ces deux extrêmes, A titre d'exemple - A - 1C2A / B - 1C3A / C - Fin 1er cycle / D - 2C1A ? à surtout adapter, moduler en fonction des élèves musiciens et de leur parcours, Collection Les bandes de hautbois / Hautbois

Concerto In C Minor for Oboe Strings and Basso Continuo composed by Matthäus Nikolaus Stulick [or Georg Friedrich Händel or Johann David Heinichen]. Additional parts are available from the publisher separately quickly and cheaply. A 'Piano Reduction' for Oboe and Piano is available separately. There are three versions of this concerto with different assignments: Source A: In the library Schwerin [D-SWl] as „de Sing. Stulick' [Mus.5337]. Source B: In the collection Rheda[D-RH] as „Del Sing. Heinichen' [Ms 389]. Source C: In the univesity library Upsala [S-Uu]als „Dell Sing. Hendell' [i hs. 19:28]. The distribution of a baroque composition under various composers names was not uncommon and usually meant that it was a worthy work of high compositional quality. This Concerto for Oboe Strings and Basso continuo can serve in any case as evidence for this thesis. The question which of the three composers mentioned was the creator of the concert can not be answered conclusively. Two arguments suggest however that Matthäus Nikolaus Stulick (c.1700-1732) is the most likely of the three candidates: - The Schwerin manuscript [Source A] that names Stulick as the composer is the best by far; it contains far fewer errors and inconsistencies than the other two. - The designation of a work by a foreign composer name makes only sense if an unknown composer publishes under a name of a much more prominent composer not vice versa. Why should a work of Handel or at his time well-known Heinichen be played under the name of someone less known? We do not know much about the life of Matthäus Nikolaus Stulick. He

'Trio' for Piano Oboe and Bassoon was commissioned by The Orchestra of St. Luke's the National Endowment for the Arts and the Mary Flager Cary Charitable Trust and its world premiere was performed by the St. Luke's ChamberEnsemble in 31 January 1996.

Ursula Mamlok was born in Berlin in 1923, but was forced to emigrate via Ecuador to New York in 1939 because of her Jewish descent. In 2006 she returned to the city where she was born.Fünf Phantasiestücke, composed in 2012/13 for a small mixed ensemble consisting of oboe, violin, viola and violoncello, draws its appeal from the broad spectrum of emotions, feelings and states described musically in a minimum of time: Unruhig [Anxious] - Schwebend [Floating] - Munter [Lively] - Wie im Traum [Like a Dream] - Spielerisch [Playful] are the headings of the individual sections. An Evening in the Village was composed in 1908 as no. 5 of the Ten Easy Piano Pieces. It has become one of Bartók's favorite works which the composer himself was fond of playing at recitals. As he explained in an American interview it was ''an original composition that is ... with themes of my own invention but ... the themes are in the style of the Hungarian-Transylvanian folk tunes. There are two themes. The first one is a parlando-rubato-rhythm and the second one is more in a dance-like rhythm. The second one is more or less the imitation of a peasant flute playing.'' Bartók also orchestrated the piece in 1931 as no. 1 of HungarianSketches. In 2015 we are launching a series entitled Bartók Transcriptions for Music Students to mark the 70th anniversary of the composer’s death. This involves reissuing our tried publications and publishing some further new transcriptions that fulfill in every respect the strict aesthetic demands of the earlier ones. We trust these publications will allow us to introduce still more music students to the realm of one of the great geniuses of 20th-century music.
