Johann Pachabel’s Canon in D Major more commonly known as Pachelbel’s Canon has been wonderfully arranged for Flute and Piano by Tony Santorella. A favourite for chamber ensembles and musicians its charmand tonal quality have meant that it is more popular than Pachelbel’s other larger more impressive works. It is often played slower than Baroque conventions making a thoughtful beautiful and relaxing piece. With separateparts for Flute and Piano but is also suitable for Violin and all C instruments.

Originally for strings this well-known work is equally suited for flute. It is instantly recognisable from its use on many television advertisements.
