Depuis Lin Chin Cheng commence son voyage musical en provenance de Taiwan à l'Australie et de l'Australie à la Belgique, il a représenté plusieurs concerts importants tels que les performances réalisées en Australie et pour les échanges culturels avec la Chine et Singapour groupe. Il a disputé son premier récital première Taipei 2002, a rejoint le 'BA-DA groupe de percussions Boom' et était un navire de formation de 'KARAK duo de percussion'. Il a participé au Queensland Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra en tournée dans le Queensland. Il a été invité à jouer un concert à la vitrine 'Australian Percussion Symposium 2003 '.Lin est devenu le soliste d'Europe 2007 au Concours '4 ème soliste européen à Birmingham 2007, et il a reçu deux supplémentaires le 'Choice Award de performance 'et le' Prix de la meilleure marimba '. En outre, il a enseigné dans plusieurs universités- l'Université Griffith du Queensland Conservatorium, Université du Chiapas, de l'Université de la Patagonie, La Corogne professionnel Conservatoire et Conservatoire de Hasselt. Sa composition 'Retour à l'époque' a reçu le 'Prix Originalité' à la Déclaration universelle des concours de marimba Belgique 2007 et ses travaux sont devenus un répertoire standard des compétitions internationales de Marimba.Lin a étudié marimba et percussions avec Huang Kun-Yan, Guo Guang-Yuan, Gary France, Vanessa Tomlinson, Kevin Man, Eric Sammut et Ouderits Lion. Il a complété sa spécialisation étude marimba avec Ludwig Albert et la composition avec Alain Craens au Conservatoire Royal d'Anvers, en Belgique.Aujourd'hui, Lin Chin Cheng est un artiste concert à partir de projets de Marimba en Belgique et en Nouvelle Art Inc à Taiwan et endosseur de Resta maillets en France. Árpád Balázs (*1937) composed the first version of Rhapsody for Hungarian cimbalom and concert band in 2001; in 2021, on the encouragement by a Japanese marimba player he arranged the solo part for marimba, and therefore the opportunities for the work to be played have significantly widened. The Rhapsody follows the one-movement structure created by Franz Liszt. The beginning solo section of the cimbalom (or marimba) returns before the coda as a pillar of the form. The composition, which can be divided into five sections, develops and works with a Lydian tetrachordal motif (G-A-B-C sharp) in different characters, stretching the span of music from a simple, children's song-like appearance to an obstinate ritual dance. Although many of the greatest composers from the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods did not write for marimba, their works are still available and are perfectly suited for this instrument. Many of these works were written for violin and contain bowings and fingerings that assist in the stylistic interpretation for violin but do not apply to marimba. Contemporary marimba virtuoso William Moersch has consistently commissioned the best musicians possible to create works for his instrument. In 1984 Bennett wrote his first work for Moersch After Syrinx II based on Debussyâ??s Syrinx for Flute solo and written. Then in 1988 Richard Rodney Bennett agreed to create an â??Americanâ?? concerto and so composed this concerto in two movements I con moto and II con brio that display the versatility of the instrument. Both movements feature blazing cadenzas by the marimba but it is in the cadenza in the second movement that the marimba essentially becomes the entire Orchestra in the Orchestraâ??s dominant 6/8 time signature andleads the piece on to a brilliant ending. Composer performer and arranger Richard Rodney Bennett was internationally respected for his serious music and many award-winning film scores (Murder on the Orient Express Nicholas and Alexandra) as well as his works for children and his religious pieces. In addition this markedly versatile musician frequently performed as a jazz pianist. On his move to the United States the two sponsors for his green card (work permit) were Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim.
