Brass Band - Grade 1.5 SKU: BT.GOB-000702-130 Composed by John DeBee. Score Only. 8 pages. Gobelin Music Publications #GOB 000702-130. Published by Gobelin Music Publications (BT.GOB-000702-130). Which of us does not have them, memories? Everyone sometimes remembers things from the past, be they happy memories or not. Sometimes, a scent may remind us of a particular place, or a tune may bring back memories of a certain situation. John DeBee experienced something similar when he heard a song on the radio: he immediately picked up his pen and composed ‘Flashback’. It has become a piece that appeals to the ear, which will provide both the musicians performing it and their audience with pleasant memories.
$12.95 - See more - Buy onlinePre-shipment lead time: 2 to 3 weeks

Brass Band - Grade 5 SKU: BT.DHP-1094779-130 Composed by Jan de Haan. Concert and Contest Collection Brass Band en Fanfare. Concert Piece. Score Only. Composed 2009. 56 pages. De Haske Publications #DHP 1094779-130. Published by De Haske Publications (BT.DHP-1094779-130). 9x12 inches. A flashback is an interesting psychological phenomenon: a seemingly random trigger can bring back long-forgotten memories from the subconscious mind. The composer underwent a similar experience before writing this piece. He was asked to write a piece for The National Youth Fanfare Band in the Netherlands, one which he heard perform many years ago. All of a sudden he remembered Deep Harmony, a piece frequently programmed back then. He used his own flashback-experience as an inspiration to weave an old English hymn into his new composition, much like a musical flashback. The right idea at the right moment, as this piece will prove!
$52.95 - See more - Buy onlinePre-shipment lead time: 2 to 3 weeks

| In Memoriam Brass ensemble [Score and Parts] - Easy De Haske Publications
Brass Band - Grade 3 SKU: BT.DHP-1115122-030 In memory of Alex Veld(+)
Brass Band - Grade 3 SKU: BT.DHP-1115122-030 In memory of Alex Veld. Composed by Jacob De Haan. Concert and Contest Collection CBHA. Festive and Solemn Music. Set (Score & Parts). Composed 2011. De Haske Publications #DHP 1115122-030. Published by De Haske Publications (BT.DHP-1115122-030). 9x12 inches. English-German-French-Dutch. When someone departs this life, there is sadness, people seek comfort, and memories come to mind. Jacob de Haan has brought these three elements together in In Memoriam, which has been composed with the aim of honouring the deceased, and offering consolation to the bereaved.
$78.95 - See more - Buy onlinePre-shipment lead time: 2 to 3 weeks
| Durkle Bandrydge Suite Brass ensemble [Score and Parts] - Beginner Gobelin Music Publications
Brass Band - Grade 1.5 SKU: BT.GOB-000726-030 Composed by Bruce Fraser. S...(+)
Brass Band - Grade 1.5 SKU: BT.GOB-000726-030 Composed by Bruce Fraser. Set (Score & Parts). Gobelin Music Publications #GOB 000726-030. Published by Gobelin Music Publications (BT.GOB-000726-030). Durkle Bandrydge is the name of the composers imaginary world, but it could very well be anyones invisible dream world with a different name. In this very versatile suite by Bruce Fraser, 8 characters are featured, each with its ownpeculiarities, making Durkle Bandrydge such a colourful place. Do these characters differ that much from us? That is for you to find out! In the last part, all characters come together in a special way.
Durkle Bandrydge exists at the end ofyour street. It is invisible to humans, but Durkle Bandrygators can watch us with great interest. The music will introduce you to some of the characters who live in this unusual place.
The parts: Somnanbulyss, who is a giant trollguarding the entrance to Durkle Bandryde. At least, he is supposed to, but he tends to sleep most of the time. His music is therefore very slow moving and sleepy.
Long Gwysteen is a tall, mysterious, and somehow sophisticated character, who walls around with a shell on his back. His music glides along rather gracefully.
Squelfitch is a rather unpleasant and smelly character who lives in a bog, which is why his music sounds rather slimy and a bit like trying to walkthrough quicksand.
Perfydlia is a meddling old woman, who gossips about everybody and squeals with sudden delight at the small exciting bits of tittletattle about others in the village. In the music you can hear her sudden little squealsof delight.
Maryann Lovely is a beautiful young lady, graceful, gorgeous, absolutely devine, and her music is obviously just the same.
Thistledoo Nicely is a lively character who spends and spends and spends with her credit card, buying the latest fashion and never worries about having to pay the bills. Her music reflects her excitement when shopping and het ‘happy go lucky’ approach to life.
Marsyn Edginton is the Lord of the manor, the richest man in town, the‘big cheese’, the man with all the power and, of course, the biggest house. He is very grand and his music like he could be a king.
Jimmy McScotsmyn is a red haired scotsman wearing tartan cap. He misses his home country terribly and eatslots of shortbread, oatcakes, scotch eggs, porridge and drinks an enormous amount of Scotch Wisky, which helps him to have fond memories of the kind of music he would like to dance to when he was a younger man. His favourite dance is a Jig andthis is the music he remembers.
Grand March of the Durkle Bandrydgators. We hope that you have enjoyed meeting these characters from Drukle Bandrydge and would invite you to listen to all the villagers now march along in a grand parade -it is a pity that you can not see them, what is a wonderful sight. If you listen carefully, you will hear the melodies which belong to the characters as they march past. Oh what a grand spectacle!

It will be very scary when the train reaches the topand the train will be plunged down the first drop! Loops, corkscrews and other spectacular coaster elements will follow... | Music of the Spheres Brass ensemble [Score] - Intermediate/advanced Anglo Music
Brass Band - Grade 6 SKU: BT.AMP-028-130 Composed by Philip Sparke. Elite...(+)
Brass Band - Grade 6 SKU: BT.AMP-028-130 Composed by Philip Sparke. Elite Series. Concert Piece. Score Only. Composed 2003. Anglo Music Press #AMP 028-130. Published by Anglo Music Press (BT.AMP-028-130). The piece reflects the composer's fascination with the origins of the universe and deep space in general. The title comes from a theory, formulated by Pythagoras, that the cosmos was ruled by the same laws he had discovered that govern the ratios of note frequencies of the musical scale. (‘Harmonia’ in Ancient Greek, which means scale or tuning rather than harmony - Greek music was monophonic). He also believed that these ratios corresponded to the distances of the six known planets from the sun and that the planets each produced a musical note which combined to weave a continuous heavenly melody (which, unfortunately, we humans cannot hear). In this work, these six notesform the basis of the sections MUSIC OF THE SPHERES and HARMONIA. The pieces opens with a horn solo called t = 0, a name given by some scientists to the moment of the Big Bang when time and space were created, and this is followed by a depiction of the BIG BANG itself, as the entire universe bursts out from a single point. A slower section follows called THE LONELY PLANET which is a meditation on the incredible and unlikely set of circumstances which led to the creation of the Earth as a planet that can support life, and the constant search for other civilisations elsewhere in the universe. ASTEROIDS AND SHOOTING STARS depicts both the benign and dangerous objects that are flying through space and which constantly threaten our planet, and the piece ends with THE UNKNOWN, leaving in question whether our continually expanding exploration of the universe will eventually lead to enlightenment or destruction.
Asteroids and Shooting Stars beschrijft objecten in de ruimte.
$55.95 - See more - Buy onlinePre-shipment lead time: 2 to 3 weeks

The Netherlands have been an important trading nation for a long time partly as a result of their geographical situation. One of the first multinationals in The Netherlands was the ‘Verenigde Oostindische Compagnie’ (VOC). The aim of the VOC was to send ships to Asia in order to buy pepper and spices, and to take over the Portuguese monopoly in this field. The Company was successful. An era of great prosperity resulted, in which the art of painting (Rembrandt van Rijn) as well as science (Constantijn Huygens) flourished alongside a thriving economy.
1. The Sails are set : There is a lot of hustle and bustle on the quay. The crew are preparing fordeparture. Goodbyes are said and once the sails have been hoisted the ship sets out to sea.
2. A Visit to the Rajah of Yogyakarta: After a voyage of many months the place of destination is reached. A visit to the Radja, the king of the area around Yokyakarta, follows. The dishes and beverages and the native culture in general are very pleasant after having been on a diet of ship’s biscuit and water for such a long time.
3. The Holds have been loaded: The holds have been loaded to the brim, and the voyage home can be begin!
4. Death sails along: Life at sea is rough. not seldom did a sailor die of a tropical disease or scurvy. After a memorial service, the Captain would speak the words ‘One, two, three, in God’s name ...’ and the body, wrapped in canvas, would be committed to the sea.
5. A joyful homecoming: After many months of hardship coming home is perhaps the best part of the entire voyage. The quay is filled with people eager to give the crew a warm welcome.
2. A Visit to the Rajah of Yogyakarta: Na een maandenlange reis wordt de bestemming bereikt.
3. The Holds have been loaded: De laadruimtes zijn volgestouwd. De thuisreis kan beginnen.

Which of us does not have them memories? Everyone sometimes remembers things from the past be they happy memories or not. Sometimes a scent may remind us of a particular place or a tune may bring back memories of a certain situation. John DeBee experienced something similar when he heard a song on the radio: he immediately picked up his pen and composed ‘Flashback’. It has become a piece that appeals to the ear which will provide both the musicians performing it and their audience with pleasant memories.

Time Machine is a journey through time that begins in the Stone Age. Evolution and the coming of man take place. The journey takes us into the present in which disorientation and chaos abound. We travel further into the future. An unfamiliar quiet and surreal landscape lies before us and we wander through it bewildered as we become aware of the destruction of the environment. Suddenly and for no reason memories from our childhood are awoken. Cultures have become completely mixed into one and the evolution of man has run its course. We realise that there is no ?afterwards? as before us lies the Stone Age once again... The wheel of time spins blindly on and all isrepeated.

Durkle Bandrydge is the name of the composers imaginary world but it could very well be anyones invisible dream world with a different name. In this very versatile suite by Bruce Fraser 8 characters are featured each with its ownpeculiarities making Durkle Bandrydge such a colourful place. Do these characters differ that much from us? That is for you to find out! In the last part all characters come together in a special way.Durkle Bandrydge exists at the end ofyour street. It is invisible to humans but Durkle Bandrygators can watch us with great interest. The music will introduce you to some of the characters who live in this unusual place. The parts: Somnanbulyss who is a giant trollguarding the entrance to Durkle Bandryde. At least he is supposed to but he tends to sleep most of the time. His music is therefore very slow moving and sleepy. Long Gwysteen is a tall mysterious and somehow sophisticated character who walls around with a shell on his back. His music glides along rather gracefully. Squelfitch is a rather unpleasant and smelly character who lives in a bog which is why his music sounds rather slimy and a bit like trying to walkthrough quicksand. Perfydlia is a meddling old woman who gossips about everybody and squeals with sudden delight at the small exciting bits of tittletattle about others in the village. In the music you can hear her sudden little squealsof delight. Maryann Lovely is a beautiful young lady graceful gorgeous absolutely devine and her music is obviously just the same. Thistledoo Nicely is a lively character who spends and spends and spends with her credit card buying the latest fashion and never worries about having to pay the bills. Her music reflects her excitement when shopping and het ‘happy go lucky’ approach to life. Marsyn Edginton is the Lord of the manor the richest man in town the‘big cheese’ the man with all the power and of course the biggest house. He is very grand and his music like he could be a king. Jimmy McScotsmyn is a red haired scotsman wearing tartan cap. He misses his home country terribly and eatslots of shortbread oatcakes scotch eggs porridge and drinks an enormous amount of Scotch Wisky which helps him to have fond memories of the kind of music he would like to dance to when he was a younger man. His favourite dance is a Jig andthis is the music he remembers. Grand March of the Durkle Bandrydgators. We hope that you have enjoyed meeting these characters from Drukle Bandrydge and would invite you to listen to all the villagers now march along in a grand parade -it is a pity that you can not see them what is a wonderful sight. If you listen carefully you will hear the melodies which belong to the characters as they march past. Oh what a grand spectacle!

Death love fear ecstasy isolation dreaming and rest are all textual “variations” on the “theme” of sleep and can be found in the chosen texts.
