Commissioned by the National School Band Association the first performance of this work took place at the Snape Maltings Concert Hall in Suffolk 1988 conducted by the composer.

Commissioned and premiered by the University of Michigan Men's Glee Club conducted by Paul Rardin for its 150th-anniversary celebration. This piece is a 10-minute cycle for TBB Men's Chorus and Piano featuring the poetry of University of Michigan students and alumni.

Composed in 1903 Weary Wind Of The West celebrates the bracing and poignant power of the elements and is the setting of a text by T.E Brown.

Spaeth (1845-1925)-Written in memory of a young girl who lost her battle with cancer Thy Little Ones is a lovely tribute to all who find themselves in the midst of trouble. The PROSPECT tune is celebrated with simple vocal harmonizations and accompaniment. This work can be used for Christmas and is a good choice for high school and church choirs.

This setting of Psalm 116 by Charpentier for men's voices two violins and keyboard is an excellent work of the early Baroque era ideal for festival and all-state performances.

The original version of this setting of the well-known traditional English folk song was completed in 1974, and was commissioned by Rachel McMillan College of Education (where Gregson was a lecturer at the time) for its Music Department choir (female voices). It then had the somewhat unusual instrumentation of spinet, flute and string quartet. In 2017 Gregson made a revision for performance and publication in a new version for upper voices and piano / Ssa Et Piano
