Celebrated Violin virtuoso, Niccolo Paganini (1782-1840) is well-known for his Caprices for Violin, aiding violinists in their technique. Therefore, when clarinetist Ulysse Delecluse arranged a selection of the Caprices for Clarinet, it was well-received. Paganini's compositions are technically creative and demanding and Delecluse's adaptions for the Clarinet include variations in articulation, phrasing, breath marks, range and dynamics. Considering the success of Paganini's Caprices for the Violin, this versatile adaption for clarinetists cannot be missed by advanced performers of the instrument..

In January 1834, the great violinist Niccolo Paganini asked Hector Berlioz (1803-1869) to write a viola concerto so that he could showcase his newly-acquired Stradivarius, though Paganini rejected the work when he saw that he would not be playing continuously. HAROLD EN ITALIE (HAROLD IN ITALY), Op. 16/ H. 68, inspired by the travels of the Byronic hero, premiered on November 23, 1834, with the Orchestre de la Societe des Concerts du Conservatoire. Chretien Urhan performed as soloist instead of Paganini under the baton of Narcisse Girard. Rather than a concerto, it is more accurately described as a symphony with viola obbligato. Hearing it at a December 1838 concert, an ecstatic Paganini pulled the composer back onto the stage and knelt to kiss his hand. Franz Liszt prepared a piano transcription with viola accompaniment of the work in 1836 as S.472. Instrumentation: 2(2nd dPicc).2(1st dEH).2.4: 4.2+2Crnt.3.1: Timp.Perc(4-5): Hp: Str (9-8-7-6-5 in set): Solo Viola.

Varied Studies in all keys by Marcel Mule (1901-2001) is a set of thirty studies for Saxophone. Initially composed by Jakob Dont, Rodolphe Kreutzer, Jacques Mazas, Niccolo Paganini, Pierre Rode among others, these Varied Studies in all keys for all Saxophones would fit the skills of advanced-intermediate players. Marcel Mule (1901-2001) is one of the greatest French Saxophonists, renowned worldwide for his work on the classical Saxophone repertoire. He was teaching his students how to obtain a good quality of sound and believed it was dependent on the embouchure, the emission, the mastery of vibrato and, therefore, of breathing. He wrote different methods that focus on technique, articulation and tone productions such as '18 Exercises or Studies', 'Daily Exercises after Terschack' or '30 Great Exercises or Studies after Soussmann' (in two books), among others..
