At the beginning of the 1980s Alison Moyet was discovered by Vince Clarke, who - in search of greater independence - had left the successful band Depeche Mode. Le compositeur-interprète britannique Peter Skellern (1947) a débuté sa carrière artistique comme chef d’un chœur d’église. Après avoir reçu une solide formation au Collège de Musique Guildhall Londres, il travaille plusieurs années durant comme compositeur la BBC. Il collabore également avec Andrew Lloyd Webber, l’un des plus brillants compositeurs de comédies musicales. He finally launched his singing career in France with great effort; despite his lack of star looks and less than remarkable voice. However, he had two things going for him:powerful on-stage charisma and great willpower. It took him about twenty years to reach the top but when he did, his determination certainly paid off. He became a star singer/songwriter in France and his chansons were embraced throughout the rest ofthe world as well.
