Par BARTOK BELA. Béla Bartók’s “For Children” is one of the best known pedagogical works for piano teachers of the twentieth century, second only perhaps to the same composer’s “Mikrokosmos”. It was based firmly on the huge number of folk songs he collected, recorded and studied with his colleague Zoltán Kodály. At the time, Bartók was offering something very new to piano teachers and their students. Siegfried Steinkogler became acquainted with “For Children” at the beginning of his guitar studies and, from them, learnt a great deal about melody and harmonisation. He has chosen 38 of the original 79 pieces to offer in arrangements for the guitar. They are presented with helpful fingerings, technical solutions and aids to familiarize the younger students with common notations. For beginners, ten of the pieces are played exclusively in the first position before a gently increasing level of difficulty helps the player broaden their skills. Une partie du calendrier est assez difficile à lire, mais le rythme est modeste et il ya en fait plus de temps à jouer les séquences complexes que la quantité d'encre noire suggère .Mais qu'est-ce que ça sonne comme ? En fait, c'est plutôt glorieux . La walking bass d'ouverture, qui est curieusement fortement pointé du doigt pour quelque chose dans la première position, est pizz . et légèrement sinistre . Un coup subito du reste des joueurs va attirer l'attention de l'auditoire. Le tango est sombre, un peu étrange , car elle se positionne sur ce motif de basse, mais l'écriture est tout le temps luxuriante et merveilleusement évocateur. On peut presque entendre un accordéon diatonique en arrière-plan .La partie centrale en la majeur est chaude et mélodieuse et la plupart des pièces courez la chance de prendre un peu de l'ombre. Et puis nous retournons à l'ouverture sombre qui est renforcée avec l'ajout de quelques accords morcelés . Urtext (1932-1939). Bartók's Mikrokosmos has been one of the milestones in pedagogical piano repertoire for 80 years - and yet it is also far more than a "classical" piano primer. These 153 piano pieces, organized in ascending order of difficulty, engage not only with technical aspects of piano playing but also with the fundamentals of composition - from "Imitation and Inversion," "Ostinato," and "Free Variations," concerning compositional technique, to mood pieces and pieces with programmatic ideas such as "Notturno," "Boating," "From the Diary of a Fly," or the famous "Six Dances in Bulgarian Rhythm." Mikrokosmos first appeared in 1940 in six volumes. Based on volume 40 of the Bartók Complete Edition published in 2020(Z. 15040), the present Urtext edition offers the series gathered in three volumes.
