One of Karl King's finest early marches, part of the Karl L. King Centennial Series, will have toes tapping from start to finish! Composed in 1911, The Viking is a moderately challenging march for mature bands, and features active, involved parts for all sections of the band. The trio is famous as the official fight song of Indiana University, and this sparkling new edition will be a favorite of audiences and performers both. Loaded with extensive program notes, performance suggestions, and historical information. A great classic King march!

One of Karl King’s most famous and popular marches, The Trombone King is now available in a Command series edition, making it accessible to younger musicians. While the title rightly implies that trombones are featured, your entire band will shine with this timeless classic march. Exceptionally well-suited for contest and festival performance, as well as any concert setting, The Trombone King will delight your audiences from start to finish. Our highest recommendation!

Originally written for a film (The Big Brass Band) that was never made, this terrific but little-known march turned out to be the last march that Fillmore would write. Unusually rich in harmony, it was not published in Fillmore’s lifetime. He had asked that it be named after his friend and fellow march composer, Karl L. King, if the movie was not produced.

Three of the most famous marches from three of America’s most brilliant march composers arranged by noted composer and arranger, David Shaffer. This medley arrangement of Henry Fillmore’s Men of Ohio, Karl King’s Hosts of Freedom and John Philip Sousa’s Stars and Stripes Forever has been arranged to meet the needs of less experienced players while offering engaging melodies, flowing countermelodies, and interesting parts for all of the performers. A real showstopper!
