This exciting and accessible collection for upper voices (scored for SA choir and Piano) features five brand new songs by celebrated choral composer Bob Chilcott. Drawing on five very different texts Chilcott guides the voices through a number of styles and moods; the songs include the rousing 'All for Love of One' gentle 'The Truth is Great' and thought-provoking 'All things pass'. The central song 'Circles of Motion' is a fervent and positive setting of Joy Harjo's well-known 'Eagle Poem' and the collection is completed by the funky 'Red Boots On' which uses jazzy rhythms and harmonies to bring Kit Wright's text alive. This is Chilcott at his very best - a welcomeaddition to the repertoire of any upper-voice choir.

The Seeds of Stars is a resplendent setting by Bob Chilcott of a philosophical text by Charles Bennett. The rippling piano part provides a shimmering accompaniment to radiant and expressive vocal lines and Bob Chilcott effectively contrasts upper- and mixed-voice sections with stirring passages for all voices. Reflecting the vivid imagery of the text the upper voices soar above the choir during climatic moments but also bring the piece to its gentle profound close.

An uplifting and joyful concert setting of four texts exploring man's relationship with the earth. Brimming with energy the work has a wonderful freshness and vitality. Chilcott selects a range of evocative texts from ancient Chinese Aztec Eskimo and Native American cultures. Chilcott's skill for capturing the essence and meaning of words in music shines throughout the work. The percussion parts are included in the vocal score.

Bob Chilcott's The Bethlehem Star for SATB choir (with divisions) unaccompanied.This affecting carol was composed in memory of Alan Greaves the organist from Sheffield who was murdered on his way to Midnight Mass in 2012.The text by Gerard Manley Hopkins is particularly suited to the Midnight Mass service and Chilcott's setting is both peaceful and poignant featuring changing metres and effective imitation in the Upper Voice parts.

Christmas Oratorio by Bob Chilcott for SATB and soloists (M-S T & B) with Organ and Flute or small ensemble.With this majestic work Chilcott takes on a landmark of the choral repertory the Christmas Oratorio. Words from St Luke and St Matthew are intertwined with 16th-19th-century poetry to create a compelling retelling of the Christmas story. Five hymn texts are set to new original melodies that take their place among the season's tradition of great hymnody and enable the audience or congregation to join in with the choir. As in the St John Passion much of the narrative is presented by a tenor soloist in the role ofEvangelist with focal points such as the Magnificat and Nunc dimittis and Rossetti's 'Love came down at Christmas' taken by mezzo-soprano and bass soloists. The chorus is integral to the storytelling assuming small character roles and taking centre stage in two unaccompanied movements. A solo Flute characterizes the angels and the mellow tones of the brass ensemble evoke a sense of festive tradition.

Katie Melua and Bob Chilcott's version of Adolphe Charles Adam's carol O Holy Night for alto and tenor soloists SATB choir (with divisions) and Guitar.  As part of his collaboration with Katie Melua on her 2016 album 'In Winter' Bob Chilcott has created this arrangement of O Holy Night based on Cappeau de Roquemaure's poem and then translated. The carol is here arranged to enhance the appealing simplicity and dramatic swells of the original drawing on Melua's Guitar from the recording and a sonorous choral texture.

Bob Chilcott's In The Heart Of The World for SATB and Piano.This is the fruit of a collaboration between the American poet and storyteller Brian Andreas and Bob Chilcott. It seeks to celebrate the essential good of humanity expressed in the healing power of song. This is a piece of rare power and beauty that stands both as a heartfelt tribute to the victims of September 11 and a testament to the resilience of the human spirit worldwide.

Bob Chilcott's Dancing in Memory's Stream for SSA and Piano.This joyous and upbeat piece sets a text by Delphine Chalmers full of vivid imagery of childhood memories and with a compelling refrain: 'Though the years may make us strangers our voices set the ripples dancing in memory's stream'. Alternation between passages of 4/4 and 7/8 gives a spirited offbeat feel and the pleasingly simple melodic lines and long unison passages make the piece especially suitable for school or children's choirs.Bob Chilcott has been involved with choral music all his life first as a Chorister and then a Choral Scholar at King's College Cambridge. Later he sang andcomposed music for 12 years with the King's Singers. His experiences with that group his passionate commitment to young and amateur choirs and his profound belief that music can unite people have inspired him both to compose full-time and through proactive workshopping to promote choral music worldwide.

Katie Melua and Bob Chilcott's version of the traditional Ukrainian carol The Little Swallow/Shchedryk for SATB choir unaccompanied. Following a collaboration with Katie Melua on her 2016 album 'In Winter'  Bob Chilcott created a choral arrangement of this traditional Ukrainian carol first introduced to the English-speaking world as 'Carol of the Bells' with lyrics that link it to Christmas. Here the original is presented in Ukrainian and English with haunting and atmospheric folk motifs distributed between the parts.
