Composed for the Eucharist of Christmas Night 2004 at the Cathedral Church of Christ and the Blessed Virgin Mary Rochester in the year of the 1400th anniversary of the cathedral's foundation.Missa Carolae wascommissioned for Rochester Cathedral and first performed there on 24 December 2004 by the Rochester Cathedral Choirs directed by Roger Sayer.Missa Carolæ was written for the 1400th anniversary of Rochester Cathedral thesecond oldest cathedral in England. Performances there begin with a ceremonial procession that follows the movement of a boy chorister accompanied by pipe and drum from the High Altar to a large crib placed in the Nave gathering the choirs (singing from different parts of the cathedral) and principal clergy in the course of the procession. The work though not literally for dancing is intended to invoke a dance-like spirit which is true to theorigin of the carol as a simple dance form. The choir parts should be very well known so that the singers can sing with the whole of their bodies and not just their voices. It is suitable for liturgical or concert use.

O magnum mysterium. for high treble solo and SATB unaccompanied Set in four parts, this atmospheric carol unfolds simply, from stillness and silence, in awe and contemplation. The choral writing is punctuated with a high solo voice singing phrases that call to mind fragments of the plainsong chant on the same text, appointed as a Responsary for Christmas Day.

Annelies is the first adaptation of the diary of Anne Frank into a large-scale choral work. It brings to life the diary written by Annelies Marie Frank between 1942 and 1944 when she and her family hid in the backof an Amsterdam warehouse. Scored for Soprano soloist and SATB chorus with Piano reduction this vocal score can be used for both the chamber and orchestral versions of the work.

Annelies is the first adaptation of the diary of Annelies ‘Anne’ Frank into a large-scale Choral work. It brings to life the diary written by Frank between 1942 and 1944 when she and her family lived in hidingat the back of an Amsterdam warehouse.This score and parts is for Kyrie the eighth movement from Annelies and is composed for SATB chorus Violin Cello and Piano.

He Carried Me Away In The Spirit for mixed SATB chorus a cappella was written for the choir Commotio and their conductor Matthew Berry.This motet is a companion to the short unaccompanied motet PureRiver Of Water Of Life both with texts from the final chapters of Revelation. If performed together He Carried Me Away In The Spirit should be sung first and can segue into Pure River Of Water OfLifeA Piano accompaniment is included for rehearsal purposes.
