La percussion vient soutenir et accentuer l'esprit latino-américain de cette oeuvre. Latin Flutes est une pièce de concert attrayante et entraînante qui ne présente aucune difficulté technique particulière et qui peut de ce fait mettre en valeur trois flûtistes d'un niveau moyen ou avancé.

Se présentant sousforme de scénettes cette oeuvre met en évidence un certain nombre de facettes propres à la flûte traversière notamment : sonorité technicité tessiture sensibilité et caractère. Composition très agréable à jouer à accompagner et? à écouter.
