Elle est dédiée à Antoine, fils du compositeur, à l'occasion de sa naissance.Partant de quelques sons fragiles, le morceau accroît rapidement sa densité sonore pour finalement se disperser en pizzicato. Winter soundscapes is a collection of seven evocative sound pictures which conjure up the landscapes and feelings of a traditional hard winter.
