Si l’on ne connaît pas l’origine exacte des jelly beans (bonbons à la gelée), on sait que le procédé qui vise à faire durcir la coquille d’un bonbon tout en gardant l’intérieur bien mou a été inventé au XVIIe siècle par un certain Jordan Almonds.
