Flute,Piano - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1181363 Composed by Louise Farrenc. Arranged by Robert Debbaut. 19th Century,Classical,Contest,Festival,Multicultural,Romantic Period,World. Score and part. 6 pages. ROBERT DEBBAUT #781203. Published by ROBERT DEBBAUT (A0.1181363). Louise Farrenc (1804-1875) was the only woman to hold a professorship at a European Conservatory (Paris) in the 19th Century. Â They would only allow her to teach piano, not composition, because she was inarguably a virtuoso pianist. Â During her lifetime she mainly composed for piano, but also wrote works for the orchestra, including three symphonies, and a great deal of mixed chamber music. Â This short, lovely melody, is certainly characteristic of the Romantic Era and would make a lovely recital work. Â If you purchase, please write to the arranger at debbaut@gmail.com, subject Farrenc, and a copy of the solo part will be sent to you at no charge. Â Thank you. Melodie for Flute and Piano
