SAMRO, CAPASSO.
Tango, is a passionate union between two dancers. The musical effect that I worked on was exactly that, the passionate union between two musical instruments. Throughout the piece, I endeavored to keep the central theme of the Tango rhythm playing out between the two instruments. I know that at some points I have moved away from the Tango idea, which is why I included the word fantasy in the title. So’ for most of the piece, the Tango theme is foremost, and whatever may or may not be Tango material is indeed a fantasy, an idea, a leaning toward the real thing, that is the Tango in Latin Style.

Geoffrey Cottrell This solo piano piece was written in the spring of 2020 in Oxford UK, during the "lockdown" period (i.e. confinement to home) associated with the the coronavirus pandemic. It is based on an earlier piece of mine (October Tango) which I wrote for string quartet, but is rendered here more pianistic, and includes new material. The pianistic standard is intermediate, and the duration is about 4 minutes. The soulful music is catchy, romantic and passionate, and can either simply be played for fun, or be used in a variety of events, such as Weddings, Parties, Tango Dances, Encores etc. Édith Piaf - La foule - Piano Solo

Stallbaumer With this sheet music, you can play "La Foule" by Édith Piaf on piano!
It's an accurate, carefully created piano arrangement of the full song.
The entire melody is included in the piano part, so it makes for a perfect instrumental / piano solo cover.
Originally, "La Foule" was an Argentine song titled "Que nadie sepa mi sufrir" ("Let no one know my suffering"). It was composed by tango legend Ángel Cabral, with lyrics
by Enrique Dizeo.
The original Spanish version of the song has been recorded by many artists, including Alberto Castillo, Julio Iglesias and María Dolores Pradera.
Édith Piaf recorded a French version of the song in 1957, with new lyrics by Michel Rivgauche. Under its new title "La Foule", it became one of her most famous chansons!
The combination of Spanish tango rhythms and the softness of French chansons makes "La Foule" a timeless classic.
It's also a wonderful piece to play on the piano!
#########
Tango in D minor for cello and piano

Richard Galliano is a French accordionist of Italian heritage. After a long and intense period of study, at 14, in a search to expand his ideas on the accordion, he began listening to jazz and heard records by the trumpet player Clifford Brown. The second decisive meeting took place in 1980, with the Argentinean composer and bandoneonist Astor Piazzolla.
Astor strongly encouraged Richard to create the French ?New Musette?, as he himself had previously invented the Argentinean ?New Tango?.
Some later collaboration include Chet Baker, Eddy Louiss, Ron Carter, Wynton Marsalis, Charlie Haden,
Gary Burton, Michel Portal, Toots Thielemans and Kurt Elling.
This arrangement for Cello with piano of one of his most famous and performed pieces (with clear rhythmic references to the Piazzolla's "Libertango") is suitable for classroom, repertoire and recital. Tango Pour Claude for Horn and Piano
