Piano and keyboard - Beginning; Intermediate; Advanced - Digital Download SKU: M0.30531EB Composed by Gail Smith. Style. E-book. Mel Bay Publications - Digital Sheet Music #30531EB. Published by Mel Bay Publications - Digital Sheet Music (M0.30531EB). ISBN 9781619117150. 8.75x11.75 inches. When words fail, music speaks...so the saying goes. Expressing yourself through music by putting words to notes and notes to words can be easy; yes, easier than you may think. This book is a treasure chest of ideas for anyone interested in composing. Simple ways to spark the creative process are included, such as taking the musical letters in your name to form a melody. Step by step, you will see how to actually process the notes into music. Norse Song by Robert Schumann shows how he used the four musical letters of his friend GADE to compose the piano solo.

Easy Piano - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1033575 Composed by Lynne Cox. Children,Contest,Festival,Instructional. Score. 4 pages. Lynne Coc Publications #638882. Published by Lynne Coc Publications (A0.1033575). In Lynne's new series, 'Box of Paints', features the piano solo/lyrics, 'Yellow'. Each of the six elementary solos in this series explores the different emotions various colors evoke and/or represent. Yellow is one of the 3 primary colors and is cheerful, warm, bright, and promotes laughter. The entire series (6 pieces) would make a grand recital program-especially since they range from primary/early elem. to late elementary. 'Yellow' is a beginner piece in key of C beginning in A section with hands around Middle C (but not in true Middle C position) creating a hands-divided melody with a tiny bit of harmony hands together. To be played 'cheerfully'. First two 4-note phrases are around middle C, then repeats 8va. Form in A B A coda. B section finds bouncing (staccato) broken octaves made easy by hands answering (or repeating) first note in measure (LH) an octave higher with RH. Back and forth they banter for 4 measures and repeat this phrase an octave higher and softer. Dynamic variations throughout the piece add artistry. Coda adds echo effect and ends with rit. and fermata. Touches: student learns legato in A section, staccato in B section. Time signature in common time with rhythmic values: quarter, half, and whole notes. Entire piece is over a 2-octave span (made easy!) As in all of solos in this series, 'Box of Paints', the piece is designed to be open-ended encouraging and inspiring the student to think of things they like in this color and compose their own lyrics, even composing their own music about their favorite color. Lynne Cox also arranged this as an instrumental solo adding many instruments and parts. It can be heard on you tube and other streaming platforms under 'Yellow Instrumental'. You tube link to this is: https://youtu.be/OA4n_0Llafk.

Published by Ferdinand Maurer (A0.1032903). The Corona lockdown made me start composing music for the piano. This is the first serious song I've created so far and it still needs a title. Please propose a title if you have an idea. One association to this song was 'spring'.The purpose of this song is to sound simple and beautiful. Not faster, stronger and more complex music is what I create but as I said simple and beautiful music to make your friends and family happy if you play it on the piano! If you like the song and want to play it you can easily purchase the sheet music here on sheetmusicplus and support me and my music.I will record a mp3.-file soon and I will also record a YouTube-video soon so that you can hear the song.

Published by Roberto Pálmer Music (A0.1327259). I wrote Noche de danza when I was around ten years old, after watching the Milos Forman´s movie Amadeus. A new feeling was born inside of me, about writing music, about composing.I thought, if Mozart wrote music so young... Why couldn´t I do the same?At that time I did not know much about music, just playing the piano a little. So I wrote Noche de danza in three movements and that´s it, I did not change a single thing, exactly as I wrote it I recorded it.Web

Flute,Piano - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.549725 Composed by Gabriel Faure. Arranged by James M. Guthrie, ASCAP. Contemporary,Multicultural,Romantic Period,Standards,World. Score and part. 22 pages. Jmsgu3 #3531379. Published by jmsgu3 (A0.549725). Duration: ca. 7:00, Score: 12 pages, solo part: 2 pages, piano: 7 pages. An epic choice for a recital or funeral. Fauré Background: In the first place, Gabriel Fauré 1845 –1924) was a famous French composer, musician, and educator. Furthermore, his musical ideas influenced numerous 20th-century composers. Therefore, historians regard him as one of the leading French composers of his time. Famous Works: Among his most famous compositions, by and large, are the Pavane, Elegie (op. 24), Requiem, Sicilienne, Nocturnes for piano and the songs Après un rêve and Clair de lune. Inasmuch as his early works are well-known and relatively easy to perform, Faure’s music seems to have become gradually more difficult during his later life. In other words, his later works are somewhat esoteric and complex. Early Home Life: Fauré was in fact born into a well-cultivated family. His aptitude for music became particularly clear early on - when he was still a boy. Under these circumstances, his parents sent him to a music institution in Paris. Consequently, the training he received there prepared him for a career as a church organist and choirmaster. Middle Life: It is important to realize that Fauré studied music composition with the French musical mastermind Camille Saint-Saëns, who became his lifelong friend. Fauré eventually graduated from college and earned a living as an organist and educator. During this period, he had, on the whole, little time to compose. He consequently became more successful in his middle age, becoming organist of the Église de la Madeleine and director of the Paris Conservatoire. However, he still needed time on balance for composing. Therefore, given these points, he withdrew to the countryside during the summer to focus on composing. Later Life: Fauré was, in the final analysis, recognized in France as the foremost French composer of his time. The French government held a national musical tribute particularly for him in Paris. The French President notably headed the ceremony. Elsewhere, on the contrary, Fauré's music was slow to become accepted, except of course, in England. Legacy: Historians often describe Fauré's music in general as a transition between the end of Romanticism and the beginning of modernism. As an illustration, when Fauré was born, Chopin was still composing. However, by the time of Fauré's death, jazz and atonal music, in particular, had come to fruition. Fauré, by all means, suffered from increasing deafness in his later years. Some musicologists believe this to be indeed the cause of the esoteric nature of Faure’s final works.

Piano,Viola - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.549724 Composed by Gabriel Faure. Arranged by James M. Guthrie, ASCAP. Contemporary,Multicultural,Romantic Period,Standards,World. Score and part. 22 pages. Jmsgu3 #3531351. Published by jmsgu3 (A0.549724).
