Concert Band - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.750844 Composed by Brendan Elliget MAGA 537. Graduation. Score and parts. 60 pages. BJE Music #3884823. Published by BJE Music (A0.750844). Inno della Banda San Gottardo di Barghe - Concert Band Processional March (St Gotthard Hymn)Commissioned by Banda Musicale San Gottardo di Barghe for the Centenary of the band 2009This composition was commissioned by Banda Musicale San Gottardo di Barghe in Italy for the Centenary of the band 2009. They wanted something resembling a processional march or a hymn - I think this has elements of both. The percussion parts are an important part of the feel and style of the composition. The extended introduction is meant to build and then die away before the main theme appears. The band has already performed this composition and by all reports, it was well received. There is also optional piano part included in the score. The MP3 was recorded with NotePerformer.Grade = 3.5 Duration = 3:10 mins.

Piano,Trombone - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1043239 Composed by Edward Elgar. Arranged by Diego Marani. Classical,Instructional,Patriotic,Romantic Period,Standards. Score and part. 18 pages. Diego Marani #647927. Published by Diego Marani (A0.1043239). The best known March of the set, it had its premiere in Liverpool on 19 October 1901, with Elgar conducting the Liverpool Orchestral Society. The Trio contains the tune known as Land of Hope and Glory. In 1902 the tune was re-used, in modified form, for the Land of hope and glory section of his Coronation Ode for King Edward VII. The words were further modified to fit the original tune, and the result has since become a fixture at the Last Night of the Proms, and an English sporting anthem. In the United States, the Trio section Land of Hope and Glory of March No. 1 is often known simply as Pomp and Circumstance or as The Graduation March and is played as the processional tune at virtually all high school and some college graduation ceremonies. It was first played at such a ceremony on 28 June 1905, at Yale University, where the Professor of Music Samuel Sanford had invited his friend Elgar to attend commencement and receive an honorary doctorate of music. Elgar accepted, and Sanford made certain he was the star of the proceedings, engaging the New Haven Symphony Orchestra, the College Choir, the Glee Club, the music faculty members, and New York musicians to perform two parts from Elgar's oratorio The Light of Life and, as the graduates and officials marched out, Pomp and Circumstance March No. 1. Elgar repaid the compliment by dedicating his Introduction and Allegro to Sanford later that year. The tune soon became de rigueur at American graduations, used primarily as a processional at the opening of the ceremony. This arrangement for trombone or euphonium (C and Bb) with piano is suitable for classroom, repertoire and recital.

This arrangement for soprano sax with piano is suitable for classroom, repertoire and recital.

Regis Bookshar #775803. Published by Regis Bookshar (A0.1175686). Heroic Music - A Suite of Twelve Short Marches (Complete) - Georg Philipp Telemann - Trumpet Quintet, Timpani - Intermediate - Digital Download.Heroic Music (or Heldenmusik) is a suite of twelve short marches and processionals, written by Georg Philipp Telemann in 1728, and is associated with various attributes of Heroism such as Dignity, Bravery and Alertness. All twelve movements have now been transcribed and arranged by Regis Bookshar to be played by Trumpet Quintets or Brass Quintets. Some of them have also been aranged for Sextets, Septets, Octets, Nonets and Brass Choirs. Some also include a Timpani. They can be purchased individually, or, if you prefer, as a complete set of all twelve at a huge saving.Any of these selections would be a wonderful addition to any music library, but this complete set of all twelve would be fabulous. They are perfectly suited to recitals and public performances, can stand alone as short interludes and are generally well received by audiences. They are suitable for high school and college students but professional musicians would also enjoy playing these arrangements. These selections are some of the many arrangements from The Regis Bookshar Trumpet Ensemble's extensive music library which are being made available for the first time. In the past, these compositions have often been performed by a soloist playing on a Piccolo Trumpet, but these new arrangements are Bb Trumpet friendly as one player stated after playing through them, making them much easier for most high school students. This selection, Heroic Music - A Suite of Twelve Marches (Complete), is arranged for a Trumpet Quintet and for some selections, a Timpani. There is a version for a Trumpet Quintet, without the Timpani, if you prefer. The twelve movements are as follows: No.  1. La Majeste (associated with Dignity); No.  2. La Grace (associated with Grace); No.  3. La Vaillance (associated with Bravery); No.  4. La Tranquillite (associated with Composure); No.  5. L'Armement (associated with Rearmament); No.  6. L'Amour (associated with Love); No.  7. La Vigilance (associated with Alertness); No.  8. La Gaillardise (associated with Abandon); No.  9. La Douceur (associated with Gentleness); No. 10. La Generosite (associated with Magnanimity); No. 11. L'Esperance (associated with Hope); and No. 12. La Rejouissance (associated with Joy). To hear what they sound like, search for the individual selections because I could not download the large mp3 file. Included are scores and a complete set of parts (157 pages). These selections are readily available for a variety of instrumental ensembles. Please take the time to look for other versions of these compositions. You may find something else that may suit your needs. I would also encourage you to search for other arrangements by Regis Bookshar, as well, as there are numerous selections in a variety of styles, also available for purchase. You may find something else which might interest you. Please continue to check periodically because new arrangements are being added as often as possible. Brass Ensemble - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.808691 Composed by James Johnston Stewart and Sergei Prokofiev. Arranged by F. Leslie Smith. Contemporary. Score and parts. 18 pages. Sweetwater Brass Press #4295617. Published by Sweetwater Brass Press (A0.808691). Sergei Prokofiev’s comic opera, The Love for Three Oranges, Op. 33, was first produced in Chicago’s Auditorium Theatre in 1921. Prokofiev subsequently composed a concert suite from six of the opera’s selections. Of these, the March is probably best known. It was adopted as the theme song for a popular radio series, The FBI in Peace and War, which ran on CBS 1944-1958. Through its use on the program, listeners became familiar with the music and were so impressed that it was recorded and published independently as The FBI March. Because of its bold, driving and rhythmic nature, the March is well suited for a brass group, and makes for an exciting experience for both musicians and audience. This arrangement, written for brass quintet using trumpets pitched in C, was completed in 2012 and runs about 1 minute, 38 seconds. (A Bb-trumpets version is also available.) The arranger, Les Smith, can be reached at lessmith@ufl.edu. If you liked this one, check out Les’ Entry of the Graduates: Processional, Funeral March of a Marionette, Golliwog’s Cake Walk, Marche from Sylvia, March Militaires and War March of the Priests (from Athalia). The third clarinet is fairly easy. It is designed to be suitable for any large indoor space, using mostly whole-tone mode to reduce clashes of harmony caused by echoes. The Eb clarinet is in antiphony with the rest, and should be positioned well away from them. Rondo, with fanfares, a march and a processional pavan. It would be easy to cut almost any section--treat it as a fanfare kit. 2 minutes 40 seconds.

Published by Lyons Music Services (A0.767439). As part of my series of beginner piano music, this is more of a stately processional type of march than a military one. The music is largely unison rhythm, except for the melody and countermelody. There's an opening (and closing) fanfare followed by the main themes. These eventually divide into four distinct lines which, while isorhythmic, have a degree of independence, which is why I have put this into the advanced intermediate group.

Published by Maggs (A0.1471689). In this collection, I have put together 10 arrangements of wedding processionals and recessionals for piano. They are written at an advanced level and sound rich and full though they are not difficult to play. I’ve also included a bonus hymn, “O Perfect Love,” which can be used before or during the wedding ceremony. The pieces included are: Prince of Denmark’s March (Clarke), Rondeau (Mouret), Trumpet Tune (Clarke), Prelude from Te Deum (Charpentier), Allegro Vivace from Water Music Suite (Handel), St. Anthony Chorale (Unknown composer), Recessional on “Spring” from The Four Seasons (Vivaldi), Canon in D (Pachelbel), Allegro Maestoso from Water Music Suite (Handel), Recessional on “Ode to Joy” (Beethoven), and “O Perfect Love” (Barnby).I have also included suggestions on how to adapt them to work for different timing needs. I hope this collection will prove to be very useful for anyone needing piano music for a wedding. (And they can certainly be used for other purposes, too.)Note: Each of these pieces is also available individually on this site, along with a full-length demo recording for each piece.

Composed by Various. Arranged by Sharon Wilson. Romantic Period, Classical Period, Baroque Period, Christian, Wedding. Sheet Music Single. 62 pages. Published by Sharon Wilson
This collection of intermediate piano solos includes 20 arrangements of favorite classical pieces frequently used for weddings. All the songs in this collection are well-suited for processionals and recessionals of the ceremony participants (bride, groom, bridesmaids, groomsmen, parents/family, flower girl, Bible boy, ring bearer, etc.). Several of these songs can also be used as part of the prelude, as interludes during candle-lighting, or as background music for a reception.
These arrangements were created to make challenging classical music more accessible for the intermediate player or easier to sight-read by more advanced players (comes in handy when asked to perform on short notice). Another feature of these arrangements is they are consistent at the intermediate to advanced-intermediate skill level throughout each piece. Many have been simplified and only include excerpts from the longer original movements. Other simplified characteristics include easier key signatures, timings, and fingerings and some melodies were modified to create a more contemporary sound.
Each of the 20 arrangements is also available separately with accompanying preview pages and audio samples.
Titles in this collection include:
Air from ?The Water Music? (George Frideric Handel)
