Baritone Horn TC,Euphonium,Piano - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.552853 Composed by Antonin Dvorak. Arranged by James M. Guthrie, ASCAP. Instructional,Romantic Period,Sacred,Standards. Score and part. 12 pages. Jmsgu3 #3494239. Published by jmsgu3 (A0.552853). Score: 7 pages, solo part: 2 pages, piano part: 3 pages. Duration: 4:25 Not difficult, but requires sensitivity & dynamic control. Suitable for recitals, church meditations, or school programs. Dvořák Background AntonÃn Dvořák (1841 –1904) was, of course, a composer from Czechoslovakia. As a matter of fact, he was among the first Bohemian composers to attain universal recognition. It is important to realize that the late Romantic Nationalist period featured composers who used traditional and folk elements to portray the character of their nation. In particular, we see this in the music of Grieg (Norway), Finland (Sibelius) and Smetana (Bohemia).  Dvořák relied markedly on rhythms and other characteristics of Moravian and Bohemian folk music. Ascent to Fame Dvořák was truly a child musical prodigy on the violin. The premiere performances of his compositions notably occurred 1872 and 1873. He submitted his First Symphony in particular to a German competition, but it failed to win. Consequently, in 1874 he submitted two more symphonies to the Austrian State Prize for Composition. Johannes Brahms was the principal of the jury and was accordingly very impressed. They forthwith awarded the prize to Dvořák in 1874, 1876 and 1877. At this point, Brahms thereupon endorsed Dvořák to the publisher Simrock. Later, the publisher commissioned Dvořák therefore to compose the Slavonic Dances, Op. 46. These became popular overnight and, as a result, Dvořák's worldwide status was launched. International Status Dvořák visited England upon invitation all in all nine times. On each visit, he frequently conducted performances of his own compositions. He conducted concerts of his music, especially in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Eventually, the Prague Conservatory in fact appointed Dvořák as a professor. There, to be sure, he wrote his famous Dumky Trio. United States Consequently, the National Conservatory of Music of America appointed him as director in 1892. As a result, Dvořák composed his two most famous symphonic works: the Symphony No. 9 (From the New World), which spread his name universally, and his Concerto for Cello and Orchestra, one of the most famous of all cello works. Moreover, he wrote his most celebrated American String Quartet during this time. At the same time, because of his growing recognition in Europe and his homesickness for his own country, he left to return to Bohemia in 1895.

Score and parts. 69 pages. Dico Ferreira #122048. Published by Dico Ferreira (A0.511124). WEDDING SERIES - a set of popular songs and wedding standards that I've been arranged for years (some aren't as standard, but still). The formations are varied, from duos to orchestras with chorus. Most are mixed/flexible sextets where some instruments can be replaced and, as a result, ensembles can be completely changed. Some arrangements have abbreviated versions (excerpts) and are in several keys to adapt to a wide range of voices. These options are available in my catalog. Â

Score and parts. 29 pages. Chamber Ensemble of Minnesota, Inc. #6409601. Published by Chamber Ensemble of Minnesota, Inc. (A0.955179). English horn I and II parts, soloists score plus Piano Reduction of the English horn arrangement for Concerto for Two Oboes in D Major, Op. 9, No. 12 and String Orchestra, composed/first edition in 1722 by T. Albinoni, arranged by D Werdick. Movements: 1. Allegro 2. Adagio 3. Allegro Time: 9 minutes, 0 seconds During the Baroque period (c. 1600 to 1750) music written in the Italian style, and German music to a lesser degree, scores and solo parts contain little (if any) information about elements like articulation, ornamentation or dynamics, so the soloists and ensemble players needed to make their own informed choices before each performance. This arrangement offers dynamics, articulations, ornamentation and nuances of tone color as to how to effectively present the composition and can help the performer to build on these ideas to effectively communicate the sense of the music. 2021 Chamber Ensemble of Minnesota, Inc. Instrumental Duet,Piano Instrumental Duet,Piano,Tenor Recorder - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1045598 Composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. Arranged by Ander. Baroque,Easter,Traditional,Wedding. 4 pages. Woods Only, Arrangements #650177. Published by Woods Only, Arrangements (A0.1045598). This easy arrangement for tenor recorder and piano was written to be uncomplicated to perform and understand the structure of the piece. It can be freely played by beginning students, because of the ease imposed on the piece; however, this does not prevent it from being played by professionals and music teachers. It is also ideal for academic recitals, student method and ceremonies that are arranged in the same way as the piece contains. The original piece is part of Johann Sebastian Bach's Suite No. 3 for orchestra, in D Major, BWV 1068, written for Prince Leopold of Anhalt. The so-called Air on the G String dates from one of these latter employments. In the service of the Prince of Cöthen, Bach composed not only the famous Brandenburg Concertos, but also several orchestral suites, from the third of which comes the Air on the G String. This curious title derives from a later arrangement of this piece for violin solo, in which the melody is played entirely on the lower, higher string of the instrument.

Small Ensemble,Strings Piano - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.549783 Composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Arranged by James M. Guthrie, ASCAP. Classical,Concert,Sacred,Standards,World. Score and parts. 27 pages. Jmsgu3 #3535793. Published by jmsgu3 (A0.549783). Mozart's Romanze from Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, K. 525 for String Quartet and Piano (Piano Quintet). Duration: ca. 7:00. Score: 11 pages. Violin I: 4 pages, Violin II: 3 pages, Viola: 3 pages, Cello: 2 pages, piano: 4 pages. This is one of the most beloved works in all of Mozart's catalog making it a strong choice for a recital, meditation, nightclub, church or wedding reception. Eine kleine Nachtmusik Eine kleine Nachtmusik is also at the same time known as Serenade No. 13. Indeed, we find it listed in the Köchel Catalog as K. 525. With this in mind, Mozart composed the piece by all means in 1787 probably as a commission. To clarify, the title translates as a little night-music. Mozart originally scored the work in particular for an ensemble of two violins, viola, and cello with double bass (optional). In modern times the work is certainly usually performed by string orchestras, though it is often in fact performed by a string quartet – with or without double bass. Publication A point often overlooked is that the name of the work derives from the entry Mozart made in his private journal. He wrote: Eine kleine Nacht-Musik. This explains that Mozart was probably not naming the piece, but only entering a record that he had completed it. Nevertheless, the work was published by and large in 1827. It had been sold to the publisher for the most part in 1799 by Mozart's widow Constanze. Nowadays, it is on balance extensively performed and recorded. Some critics ultimately claim that it is the most popular of all Mozart's works. Early Years Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756 – 1791), was a productive and significant Austrian classical composer. Mozart displayed unusual musical capability from his earliest childhood. It seems like he was already capable on keyboard and violin at the age of two. He started composing at age five and performed before European royalty. Middle Period At 17, Mozart was working as a musician at the Salzburg Royal court but grew agitated from boredom and traveled to search for a more interesting job. While visiting Vienna in 1781, he was summarily dismissed from his Salzburg job. Nevertheless, he decided to stay in the capital (Vienna), where he achieved much fame but little economic haven. Throughout his concluding years in the Capital, he composed many of his most famous works: symphonies, operas, and concertos. Final Period The conditions surrounding his death have been much the subject of much conjecture and mythology. He composed more than 600 works, many recognized as highpoints of symphonic, chamber, concertante, choral and operatic. He is among the most everlastingly popular of classical composers, and his impact is substantial on succeeding Western art music. Michael Butkus-Bomier #3000649. Published by Michael Butkus-Bomier (A0.862630). Concertos for Five, is a new series from GateWay Editions. This listing is for the string parts to the first movement only. No Score, no piano. Those items are listed separately. The reason is download printing. These parts should ALL be set to print single-sided, so the end-user can decide where to place the page turns. Scores and piano parts are all double-sided downloads, and are listed separately. One could buy these parts, and utilize any Beethoven piano score, with the composer's original cadenzas, which are integrated into the fabric of all three movements, and study, rehearse and perform them with seamless ease. Look for the scores and parts for the other two movements, and play the entire concerto, with five players, not the entire orchestra. Ideal for chamber musicians, students in college, summer clinics, and any concert setting of limited scope and space. MBB.
