Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.596585 By Queen. By Freddie Mercury and Frederick Mercury. Arranged by Juan MarÃa Solare. Rock. Score. 5 pages. Juan Maria Solare #5214229. Published by Juan Maria Solare (A0.596585). Love Of My Life -composed by Freddie Mercury- is one of the most beautiful ballads in the history of rock music, and a fantastic song to play as piano solo. This is not a simplified arrangement. Is an arrangement that will sound quite like the original - with the obvious difference that all music and secondary melodies must be played by a single instrument - the piano. This version follows the studio recording, not the version made by Queen for their live performances. My score includes chord symbols, in case you prefer to play them instead of reading exactly each note I've written. You can have a listen at YouTube (and soon on Spotify and other digital platforms): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0J013MNcNU Love Of My Life was included on Queen’s album A Night at the Opera (1975). The ballad was composed for Mary Austin. Freddie Mercury said about this song: Love Of My Life is adapted on stage for guitar, but it was written on the piano. I've totally forgotten the original and if you asked me to play that now, I couldn't. Sometimes, I have to go back to the music sheet, and I can't read that well either. (Queen Archives – Freddie Mercury Interview, Melody Maker 05-02-1981) I hate this thing about trying to recreate the albums on stage. We sometimes deliberately change. Look at 'Love Of My Life', for instance. On record I play piano on that but on stage it's just Brian playing the guitar and me singing it, because it works on stage better that way. (Love Of My Life – Queenpedia.com – Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor, John Deacon, Discography, Bibliography, Charts.)

B-Flat Trumpet,Drum Set,Euphonium,Flugelhorn,Flute,Guitar,Piano - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1012600 Composed by Michelle Kraak. Contemporary,Pop,Rock,Standards. 44 pages. Michelle Kraak #6102861. Published by Michelle Kraak (A0.1012600). Instrumentation: flute, horn, flugelhorn, Bb trumpet 1, Bb trumpet 2, euphonium, amplified guitar, drum set, piano and voice (mezzo soprano)Always Thinking of You is a fusion of a few different styles, including aspects of pop and rock as well as hints to the brass chorale style. It has a unique combination of instruments. Amplification is recommended to get the best group balance. I originally wrote the lyrics as a poem and then set the poem to music. The piece should be sung in a pop-like style, as opposed to an operatic style. It could be programmed in a recital or ensemble concert. The piece has a unique instrumentation, which can be helpful for groupsthat don't have the standard instrumentations. It would work nicely for students or to showcase a vocalist.4 minutes 57 secondsashevilletrumpet.comhttps://www.facebook.com/kraakmichellehttps://www.instagram.com/kraakmichelle/https://www.linkedin.com/in/michelle-kraak-71b0258a/ Lyrics:I don't know what to do,Every step brings me closer to you.Every touch of your hand,This is not what I had planned. Forever and ever,You will always be here,Never forgotten,So painfully near. Each morning I wake,Each breath that I take,I'll always be thinking of you,Always be thinking of you. Love come and gone.Like a snowflake that melts in the spring. My heart will grieve. So for you this song I'll sing. Forever and ever,You will always be here,Never forgotten,So painfully near. Each morning I wake,Each breath that I take,I'll always be thinking of you,Always be thinking of you.

Torn between love and financial security, an unlikely opportunity arises when a dying rich Occidental, Justin (Tenor) reveals his romantic interest in Kai. The couple plot a pretense to inherit Justin's money and be free to marry and live together. This aria occurs in Act I, Scene 2. Justin (tenor) has just hired a group of porters, including Kai (bass), to guide him through the jungles of the island to photograph the mythical bird, the Scarlet Messenger. Although the men insist it is a legend, Justin inspires them to persevere with him. Aria Libretto, Justin (tenor singing): From the hillside, something breaks free. Is it real? Or just illusion? Oh how I have to see you, feel that beauty. Upon your wings our souls must one day fly to heaven. Never doubt that you can find him, hiding among your dreams. For when you feel all hope is gone, that's when you spot his red wings, fiery bright. (to the group of porters) So come with me, all's not in vain. It is real, just not illusion. The day is fading fast, oh, so quickly. We'll be the first to see that blazing path of fire. The Scarlet Messenger! Oh how that would be the greatest gift of my life. Instrumental Duet Euphonium,Instrumental Duet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.552413 Composed by Leo Delibes (1836-1891. Arranged by James M. Guthrie. Holiday,Romantic Period,Standards,Wedding. Score and parts. 7 pages. Jmsgu3 #6342753. Published by jmsgu3 (A0.552413). Duo of the flowers from Lakme, Act I. A popular wedding selection.Leo Delibes (1836-1891) was a French composer of the Romantic period best known for his ballets and operas. He was a child prodigy and began composing music at the age of seven. He studied at the Paris Conservatoire, where he developed a mastery of the symphonic form and wrote several pieces for the orchestra. His works for the stage are among the most popular and beloved of the Romantic era, including the ballets Coppélia and Sylvia, and the opera Lakmé.Delibes was a pioneer in the use of orchestral color and instrumental effects to enhance the dramatic narrative of his works. His works are often praised for their lyricism, graceful melodies, and colorful orchestrations. His music is considered to be a bridge between the grandiose and romantic works of the French composers before him, such as Gounod and Berlioz, and the more intimate and melodic style of composers like Debussy and Ravel.Delibes’ influence can be heard in the works of later composers such as Stravinsky and Prokofiev, and his music continues to be performed and enjoyed today. His contributions to music history are significant, and his works remain beloved masterpieces of the Romantic era.Léo Delibes' opera Lakmé is an opera in three acts. It was first performed in 1883 at the Théâtre Lyrique in Paris. The libretto was written by Edmond Gondinet and Philippe Gille. The story is set in British-occupied India and tells the story of a young Indian girl, Lakmé, who is in love with a British officer, Gerald. The story follows the couple's romantic journey, as well as the obstacles they face from Lakmé's father and the British military. The opera is best known for its beautiful score, which includes the famous aria The Flower Duet as well as the duet Lakmé! The Bell Song. The opera has been performed in opera houses all over the world and is considered one of Delibes' most popular works. The Duo des Fleurs, composed by French composer Léo Delibes, is a ballet pas de deux from the ballet Lakme, Act I. It is a beloved masterpiece of the Romantic period and is often performed as a standalone piece in many ballet performances. The piece is typically danced by two female ballet dancers and is known for its playful and lighthearted nature. The music consists of a melody that alternates between the two dancers and is often accompanied by a lighthearted waltz. The music has a strong sense of unity and connection between the two dancers, which is enhanced by the use of the same melody. The piece also features a beautiful soaring coda that gives it a sense of grandeur and beauty. The Duo des Fleurs is an exquisite piece of music and an enduring classic of the ballet repertoire.
