Accordion,Double Bass,Guitar - Digital Download SKU: A0.1068894 Composed by Lars Ek. Folk,World. Full Performance. Duration 225. Lars Ek Cosmos Music c/o Musik & Underhållningsskrädderiet AB #1921499. Published by Lars Ek Cosmos Music c/o Musik & Underhållningsskrädderiet AB (A0.1068894). Something quite astonishing has happened in the Swedish accordion world during the last couple of years, we´ve got a new idol. It´s astonishing in two different ways: for us who know the accordion world it´s a fact that Lars Ek has been around as a professional accordionist for almost 20 years, since he finished school, second: he has become an idol playing music and in a style that has it´s roots 50 years back in the accordion music history. One could say that Lars Ek, today 35 years old, should have been 85, active in the 30´s. Himself, he confess that he feels kind of secret longing back to a time when accordionists were equilibrists, when accordionists played in a brilliant way, the golden age it was for all accordion music all over the world, an age that we will never meet again. It´s a type of music which is historical but not belonging to the museums, not dead, it´s a typical of music filled with life. Very much so thanks to Lars Ek. It´s a quite notable situation. Lars Ek has been playing the accordion for a long time, he has been playing all types of music that can be played on an accordion. Just some few years ago he met, via phonograph records, the music of Nils Lind and Ragge Sundquist (two legendary Swedish performers from the 30´s and the 40´s, both dead since long ago - they both founded a school and a style) and, of course, also Frosini. And then, finally, Lars Ek felt that it was exactly here, in this style where he belonged. Lars Ek finally came home. Some sloppy listeners say that Lars Ek is copying the music of Nils Lind. Those are listeners who don´t listen. Others say that Lars is a maniac - he plays on an accordion of the Raggie Sundquist brand from 1937 and since a couple of years he also owns and plays an accordion once owned by Pietro Frosini, manufactured in 1927. That´s not mania. The style asks for such instruments. It´s most correct that way. Lars Ek has become incredibly popular. There are many reasons. He has lots of personality, he is a stage personality, he shows enthusiasm and joy while performing, he knows how to attract an audience (and the girls say he´s very handsome). One other reason is that the music Lars performs finds lots of response from the audience. And, please, don´t think it´s only those old ones who were around in the 30´s who love the music - so do even the young ones! Lars Ek x 2 is the name of the record. The explanation is simple. Lars wasn´t able to find a second accordionist to assist him. So, thanks to the technique he is his own second accordionist himself in five of the tunes performed. There is one more explanation. Lars performs melodies linked to the names of Nils Lind, Ragge Sundquist and Frosini, but he also plays five compositions of hes own. Just to show how he wants accordion music to be composed. Lars Ek does not need any recommendation, his records sell anyway. But you´re going to get some final words. This records is, regarding style, very rare to be recorded in 1982, it´s a matter of looking back and to do so with lots of skill, a look back that golden age of the accordion. It´s also a very personal record. The inspiration may very well be Nils Lind, Ragge Sundquist and Pietro Frosini. But it´s Lars Ek who plays. In his personal way. Which means that this is a record played in a very personal way.

Lars Ek Cosmos Music c/o Musik & Underhållningsskrädderiet AB #1921477. Published by Lars Ek Cosmos Music c/o Musik & Underhållningsskrädderiet AB (A0.1068889).

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1127867 Composed by Philip Le Bas. Chamber,Classical,Folk,Multicultural,World. Score. 9 pages. Philip Le Bas #728476. Published by Philip Le Bas (A0.1127867). Incidental music composed for piano in four parts by Philip Le Bas to accompany the Japanese folk tale (ghost story) Yuki-Onna (Snow Woman). This work developed out of a cross-cultural project initiated at Morley College, London, in early 2019, aiming to create a melodrama for piano solo and spoken voice to be performed in northern Japan later in the year by young students of the piano. It is based on the ghost-story above, which is widely known in Japan. The tale was transcribed and published by Lafcadio Hearn (Koizumi Yakumo) in 1904 as part of his book “Kwaidan: Stories and Studies of Strange Thingsâ€, a collection that has been highly influential in expressing popular Japanese culture over the past century. Synopsis of the tale of Yuki-Onna: Two wood-cutters, Mosaku and his apprentice Minokichi, encounter a terrible snow-storm and take shelter in an empty hut by a river. The storm gets worse and worse, but they both finally fall asleep. When Minokichi wakes, he sees a woman all in white bending over Mosaku breathing bright white smoke onto his face. She then approaches Minokichi. She is very beautiful, but her eyes make him afraid. After a while she says, “I intended to do the same to you as I did to the old man, but I feel pity for you because you are a pretty young man. If you ever tell anybody what you have seen, however, I will kill you too.†And she vanishes into the snow storm. It is then that Minokichi discovers Mosaku dead on the floor of the hut. Years later Minokichi meets a beautiful girl, who calls herself O-Yuki. He falls in love with her and they live together in his house, along with his mother, who fortunately takes a liking to her new “honourable daughter-in-law.†Over the years O-Yuki gives birth to ten children and the villagers all agree that she is a wonderful person. But she is somehow different from them, as she continues to look young and fresh, despite the passing years. Minokichi often thinks of telling O-Yuki about the events of years ago, and eventually, as he is gazing at her beauty one night, he can resist it no more. He begins to tell her about the snow storm and the terrifying snow-woman. To his horror O-Yuki becomes more and more angry, and she finally says: “It was me, it was me,… and I said I would kill you if you ever told anyone! But for these children asleep here, I would do so this very moment! You had better take very good care of them; for if ever they have reason to complain of you, I will treat you as you deserve!†As she screams at him her voice becomes thin, like the crying of the wind, and she melts into a bright white mist spiraling into the roof-beams. At that moment it starts to snow, but O-Yuki is never seen again.

Piano Solo - Advanced Intermediate - Digital Download By Queen. Arranged by Mario Stallbaumer. 6 pages. Published by Mario Stallbaumer
With these piano sheets, you can play “Bohemian Rhapsody” on piano!
It’s an accurate piano arrangement of the whole piece, including all parts, full melody & instrumental solos.
I believe this is the most accurate piano arrangement of the song you will find anywhere.
It’s a “Bohemian Rhapsody” piano version in the song’s original key, it’s playable, and it sounds fantastic!
I also created sheet music of the same piano arrangement with the song’s full lyrics - you can get it here: https://www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/21155920
“Bohemian Rhapsody” was, of course, written by the one and only Freddie Mercury.
It was included on Queen’s 1975 album “A Night at the Opera” and became one of Queen’s biggest hits. Today, it is considered by many to be the best classic rock song of all time.
There’s a good reason why the 2018 biographical film about Freddie Mercuy (played by Rami Malek) is named after this song - arguably his greatest composition.
“Bohemian Rhapsody” is famous for its diverse parts: from the a-capella-intro to rock ballad verses, from hard rock guitar solos to operatic sections.
“Bohemian Rhapsody” really is the whole package - and all parts of it can sound surprisingly great on piano, if played right!
In my experience, many arrangements of the song seem to be lacking something: They are not accurate, don’t sound powerful enough, there are important parts or even whole sections missing.
So I took my time to create a piano arrangement of the song which I feel does justice to this wonderful piece.
I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I do!
Here are the full lyrics to “Bohemian Rhapsody”:
“Is this the real life?
Is this just fantasy?
Caught in a landslide
No escape from reality
Open your eyes
Look up to the skies and see
I'm just a poor boy, I need no sympathy
Because I'm easy come, easy go
A little high, little low
Anyway the wind blows, doesn't really matter to me, to me
Mama, just killed a man
Put a gun against his head
Pulled my trigger, now he's dead
Mama, life had just begun
But now I've gone and thrown it all away
Mama, oh oh
Didn't mean to make you cry
If I'm not back again this time tomorrow
Carry on, carry on, as if nothing really matters
Too late, my time has come
Sends shivers down my spine
Body's aching all the time
Goodbye everybody I've got to go
Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth
Mama, oh oh (anyway the wind blows)
I don't want to die
Sometimes wish I'd never been born at all
I see a little silhouetto of a man
Scaramouch, Scaramouch will you do the Fandango
Thunderbolt and lightning very very frightening me
Gallileo, Gallileo, Gallileo, Gallileo, Gallileo, figaro, magnifico
I'm just a poor boy and nobody loves me
He's just a poor boy from a poor family
Spare him his life from this monstrosity
Easy come easy go will you let me go
Bismillah, no we will not let you go, let him go
Bismillah, we will not let you go, let him go
Bismillah, we will not let you go, let me go
(Will not let you go) let me go (never, never let you go) let me go (never let me go)
Oh oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no
Oh mama mia, mama mia, mama mia let me go
Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me for me for me
So you think you can stop me and spit in my eye
So you think you can love me and leave me to die
Oh baby can't do this to me baby
Just gotta get out just gotta get right outta here
Oh oh oh yeah, oh oh yeah
Nothing really matters
Anyone can see
Nothing really matters
Nothing really matters to me
Anyway the wind blows”

Multicultural,Patriotic,Praise & Worship,Traditional,World. 8 pages. Keith Terrett #811975. Published by Keith Terrett (A0.1215110). The Finnish NA arranged for Brass Quintet. There also versions for String & full Orchestra in my two stores. The anthem lyrics were taken from a poem by Johan Ludvig Runeberg, a Swedish-speaking poet, called “VÃ¥rt land†(Our Land). The song was first sung in 1848 by a student group and became popular in Scandinavia and many of his patriotic poems, including VÃ¥rt land were used by promoters of Finnish nationalism. The poem was translated into Finnish some decades later, after VÃ¥rt land was well established as a national song, by Paavo Eemil Kajander and became the anthem before 1917 independence. Estonia‘s anthem, adopted 20 years later, has the same melody, however the last few lines do not repeat as they do normally in the Finnish anthem. Interestingly, the anthem has never been officially legislated as the Finnish anthem, but rather is traditionally used as the anthem. As such, there is no standard way to perform the 11-verse anthem, but usually the first and the last verses (as presented here) are sung. There sometimes arises a debate in Finland to change the anthem to Jean Sibelius’ song “Finlandia†(the melody was used in Biafra), a song recognized internationally as a symbol of Finland, but the general opinion seems to be for now to keep the current anthem. (One reason may be that Finlandia is harder to sing compared to Maamme.)Need an anthem fast?  They are ALL in my store! All my anthem arrangements are also available for Orchestra, Recorders, Saxophones, Wind, Brass and Flexible band. Published by Richard St. Clair (A0.939673). These words were composed by Genshin Shonin (Japan, 11th c. CE), one of the seven Pure Land Masters named by Shinran Shonin (Japan, 1173-1262), founder of the Jodo Shinshu sect of True Shin Buddhism. The MP3 Audio File is a computer-generated soundfile. Duration, about 5 minutes.Lyrics:Dharma Words at Yokawa by Genshin Shonin (942-1017)It is a great joy for us sentient beings to escape from the three evil realms and be born as humans. Even if our status in society is low, could it be worse than the state of animals? Even if we are born in a poor family, we are in a far better condition than hungry spirits. Even if our wishes are not fulfilled, our suffering cannot be compared with the tortures of hell. We should not sorrow over unhappiness in this life; we should consider our lower social position as an incentive to seek Enlightenment. For this reason, we should rejoice at having been born as humans.Even though the mind of faith is shallow, anyone who takes refuge in Amida Buddhawill unfailingly attain birth, because the Original Vow is sdeep. Even though the Nembutsu comes from a reluctant heart, anyone who recites it never fails to see Amida welcoming him to his Pure Land; so great is the merit of the Nembutsu. For this reason, we should rejoice at having encountered the Original Vow.Delusion is the nature of ordinary beings. Apart from delusion, there is no mind in us. If we recite the Nembutsu while resigned to the fact that we are to remain ordinary beings full of delusion until death, we shall be received in welcome by Amida; then, as soon as we mount the lotus seat, our mind of delusion will be turned into that of Enlightenment. The Nembutsu that is uttered with the mind of delusion is like a lotus flower unstained by the muddy water. There should not be any doubt as to our attainment of birth. We should not be concerned about our delusion, but reflecting on the shallowness of our mind of faith, continually recite the Name in earnest.

DAS RHEINGOLD
"This piano score has been compiled on the basis of the edition of Rheingold in the critical complete edition of the musical works of Richard Wagner (Richard Wagner, Samtliche Werke, Vol. 10, I-II, edited by Egon Voss, Mainz 1988f.). The primary source for the edition of Rheingold in the complete edition was the first print of the score (E) which was published by Schott's Sohne, Mainz in 1873. Unfortunately, the source which would have been of greatest significance for revision purposes could not be utilised in the preparation of this edition. Wagner's autograph fair copy of the score which was included in Ludwig II's estate fell into the hands of Adolf Hitler in 1939 and has never been seen again since 1945. For this reason, it was necessary to make frequent reference to both the so-called compositional sketch (KS) and the first draft of the score (PE). For any questionable interpretations of E in the principle text, the variants in KS and PE have been added in small print or footnotes. This also applies to additional markings and alterations undertaken by Wagner during rehearsals for the first performances in 1876 which were recorded by his assistants, principally by Heinrich Porges. These variants are marked with the sign [1876]. Remarks in quotation marks reproduce Wagner's original comments. At certain points, reference has also been made to the records by Felix Mottl who was also present at the rehearsals and performances in 1876. Further relevant information can be found in the volumes of the complete edition." (Egon Voss, quoted from the foreword of the new Rheingold vocal score. translation by Lindsay Chalmers-Gerbracht)
