Demandé par Thierry Escaich, commande de la Fondation Marcelle et Robert de Lacour, et composé en octobre 2013, Love never ends fait dialoguer un accordéon avec un orgue.L'accordéon apparait tantôt comme un jeu supplémentaire de l'orgue, expressif et lumineux, tantôt comme un alter ego, riche de nombreuses similitudes : polyphonie, basses, crescendos.Le titre tiré du verset de Saint Paul aux Corinthiens L'amour ne passera jamais (Love never ends), est illustré par un élan de lyrisme qui fait souvent chanter l'accordéon au premier plan de l'écriture.Commande de la Fondation Marcelle et Robert de Lacour.Création du 15 mars 2015, à Coignières, par Anthony Millet à l'accordéon et le compositeur à l'orgue. / Duos
