There was no ‘Stanley Dickson.’ It was a pseudonym one of several used by Australian composer May Brahe to allow publishers to print more of her prodigious output. The only Australian woman composer of international renown inthe first part of the 20th century May Brahe also penned Bless This House and nearly 500 others.
