Kids 'Rock the World' for a Better Environment-Reduce! Reuse! Recycle! A lot has changed since 1989 when the popular “Assignment: Earth” hit the stage! We now have cellphones (and what to do with old ones) the internet (for a wide range of information on theenvironment) and hybrid and alternative fueled vehicles. Are we keeping up with the times? What are we doing to make our world a better place to live? UPDATE: EARTH is a 30-minute musical review about our ongoing quest to betterthe world's environment. It features 7 original pop/rock songs with simple dialogue and characters flexible enough to perform with one class or the entire student body. Kick-off the Fall with Update: Earth to set an environmentaltheme that will last throughout the year or perform it in the Spring in conjunction with Arbor Day. The Teacher Edition comes complete with piano/vocal arrangements script and John Jacobson's choreography and staging tips.Publications printed on recycled paper.
