Rantalaâ??s second opera, Die Zaubermelodika was a commission by the Komische Oper Berlin. His double concerto Joy of Life has been programmed by numerous orchestras. The fast-and-furious Seven oâ??clock Overture has been dubbed as Finnish Candide Overture.
