Description from Woodbrass :
The 14-inch HHX Thin Crash introduces a whole new design to the HHX range. Starting with a scattered hammering, followed by a rolling, then a denser HHX hammering to finish, the result is a thinner, darker and more lively Crash cymbal than the HHX Studio Crash it replaces. A smaller bell also ensures faster attack and a crash cymbal which tends to be lighter than most fine crashes. The versatility of easily crossing musical styles has always been a hallmark of the HHX line, and the HHX 14 Thin Crash is no exception. If you are looking for a small, thin Crash with a dark, shimmering tone - is here !
