Angelo Maria Benincori is an Italian composer. Born in Brescia on March 28, 1779, he died in Belleville on December 30, 1821. A student of Rolla for violin and Cimarosa for composition, he moved to Paris (1803) as a dramatic composer but did not receive the expected success , Must give to live lessons of singing, violin and piano. In 1818, he finished the Aladin or the Marvelous Lamp of Nicolo. The success of the opera is immense when it is represented on 6 February 1822. Unfortunately Benincori will not have known him in his lifetime having died of a chest disease two months before.
