Since completing his studies in Caen and Versailles Music Academies, Jean-Michel Trotoux has been awarded 5 prizes. More recently, he received the Diamond Award for Best Original Score at the Festival International Independent Film Awards in Los Angeles for the film « Taelius » (2017) by Vincent Raffaitin. His composition for « La Bataille pour les Deux-Alpes » (2018) by Thomas Le Stum won him a nomination for Best Original Music at the Festival Les Regards de l'Icart in Paris.
