Emil Kronke (* November 29, 1865 in Gdansk , † 16 December 1938 in Dresden ) was a German composer of the late Romantic period .
Kronkes parents encouraged his early musical talent. At the conservatories in Leipzig and Dresden Emil Kronke was formed. His teachers included Carl Reinecke , the organist Thomas Karl Piutti , Draeseke , Theodor Kirchner and Jean Louis Nicodé . At the age of 22 years, Emil Kronke settled in Dresden, where he worked as a piano teacher and pianist, as well as a chamber music partner.
